Despite Aion's undenyalbe heavy grinding and farming basis, despite i totally agree that there are many many problems as gamespot review has underlined here:

i still like this game and prefer it to WoW and other games.

I respect who doesn't find it worth playing, but i'm sure that many of this game's lack will be solved.

I think the main thing that makes aion a good mmo is the gameplay, honestly.  What other mmo since wow can you jump into and not have to worry about if the game isn't going to play smoothly, if the game isnt going to hold your attension past the starting zone.  I'll tell you how many, 0 till aion and Iv played everything released since wow, besides aoc and vanguard/darkfall and the f2p ones.  Everything!  I did like the chronicles of spellborn cept I played the free trial and had to quit, but it didn't have near the gameplay as I would have liked.  

Aion you cant help but feel the immensive work put into the controlability of the characters, it realy feels like your playing a first person shooter it has so much gameplay.  Aion is the first mmo that Iv been satisfied with since wow for the simple fact of playability.  It works on a wide range of machines, making it accessable to the majority.

Aion is a good game, even if it is far from perfection.

It risks only to become a niche game, played by a very limited number of people.

NCSoft can not risk to lose money this way...

Seriously have fun in Aion. I know I had fun playing. It's just that I dont have enough time to play anymore so I unsubscribed.

It would be a lot better if NCwest could improve the west's version or change it ie - content etc with out having to wait for Korea, this what makes it difficult, it needs a custom touch by westerners that understand what westerners want, unlike in the east we prefer content over grinding.

I think this was a problem for lineage, was the wests version was always waiting sometime for patches, content from korea.

K1K explained it perfectly.  Because of the way the game is now, it's going to be difficult to have those type of changes worked in.  From a large audience standpoint, we are going to need to deal with the game the way it is.
