Here is a thread on the MO forums from yesterday:

Note.. all this person is asking is whether or not his box shipped yet as the last word from SV was they would ship out "Directly after Christmas".  He isn't asking for an argument about "Why" he wants his box... He just states that his emails have gone unanswered and he is posting in the support forum to see if ANYONE can tell them if the boxes have shipped as they were supposed to..

Let's guess how many days it takes for someone to respond.  The Over/Under is 20 days at which point there will be another update posted in a newsletter explaining how the boxes were delayed due to someone elses fault and a new estimate on when they will go out...

Anything longer than 1 day for such a simple request is unacceptable.

    SV does not have a support department to respond to his question.  They have that support email but they never respond to that either since that is the only way to contact them.

    whats the big deala bout boxes as long as you have them around release there shouldnt be any complaints why do you want an out dated cd?

    I don't want the CD. I want the extras that were part of the "full loot bag".



    The CD is the least of my concerns.

    Yea, my £75 disappeared into the ether and the Devs give a vague update every few months.

    Not good.

     

    Fanboys scream at anyone who shows even the least doubt and the haters are circling like vultures because they can't bear to see a company do something different.

     

    I still watch the forums (which is about 99% the previous statement with precious little real info). But I hope sometime this year I can actually play a game that is the majority of what was advertised before last summer.

    From official forums:

     It seems there is still some confusion as to whether we started shipping or not.

    We did.

    Countries furthest off in relation to Sweden are being shipped first of course in oder to have the product arrive more or less at the same time to most customers.

    Keep in mind that customers that bought a Full Loot Bag will receive those later (approx. around late January) due to the problem with the artwork book.

    As you know, you are being compensated with additional free game time for that inconvenience.

    i was hoping this community would not be full of whiners and what not... they've explained many times about things being shipped and are very good at keeping us informed. its a fucking box with a beta version of the game, you will get it soon, stfu.

    I was actually coming on here to link to their statement.  I am a fair person.

     

    Now we will just see if people actually get them... as note he says they have "started" shipping them.  We will see, but it is at least a good sign that they responded.

     Too bad you asked for a refund...now if they have shipped your game and the bank returns your money...guess who will be the scammer :(

    Actually no.  In my last Email before I started my claim I told them SPECIFICALLY not to ship the game as I was starting proceedings against them.  if they ignore my messages and send it anyway it's not my fault.  I'll also be more than happy to return it unopened to them as long as they pay for shipping.

    If they ship it 4 months after they said they would, then it's their own stupidity. I'm eager to see the loot bag.

    They bash the game non stop and tell us all how much garbage it is...

    - But they desperately seem to want a box and items that ship with the game.

    This makes about as much sense as someone proclaiming constantly that they hate McDonalds and would never eat their utter crap, but ordering a McDonalds t-shirt and bitching about how long it's taking them every day until it arrives at their door.

    Call me naive, but I guess I just don't quite understand the madness.
