So if I DL the Trial and then decide to stay which expansions will I need to buy? Just Trials of Atlantis, Shrouded Isles and Catacombs? Foundations and New Frontiers are free and it looks like if I get it now it will include Darkness Rising and Labyrinth of the Minotaur (but I may be wrong). Any suggestions on a starter class? Was thinking Friar or Druid but really have no idea. I like survival ability, and dont mind wearing something down if needed. But I like to be ok if there are adds.
Thanks for the read.

um... as an embarrasing sidenote... can someone tell me how to use potions? I can't seem to remember what the quest giver said and the help secion or interface section don't seem to be very, er "helpful"
edit: oh, and sorry to muscle in on your thread gamer, but as long as I've asked about the potions...
Can someone tell me if Champions are any good and if they can use plate armor? Or can they just use chain?

To use a potion, you either need to right click it and type /use in chat, or you can right click the potion and drag the "icon" of the buff/use action it has on the information window to a hotkey on your bar.
As for Champions, they're a Hibernian heavy armored class so they can eventually use Scalemail which is Hibernia's heaviest armor. Every realm's armor type has an innate weakness to a particular physical damage type (Albion Platemail = Crushing. Midgard Chainmail = Piercing. Hibernian Scalemail = slashing) though these can be made up for easily with resistances on equipment.
As for them being any good, I really can't answer. I never played Hibernia past the 30's. Albion with a bit of Midgard, for me.
