Question about beta access

So do you have to buy the limited edition version of the game to get access right now or can you buy any of the options from the site (regular box, digital download) and be able to get in?

All versions have beta access. You can choose which ever. Welcome to Mortal Online if you choose to do so

 just ask around in the forums first cause there was a limit to beta testers number, i am pretty sure there are still slots but I dont know the exact numbers

They had increased the number from 10k to 20k, which they are no where near.  Anyone who buys the game right now will get beta access.



They actually only sell enough copies to fill the beta, so if you have a copy, then you have access.  They don't sell more copies than can fit in the beta.

Be intelligent here OP -- the open beta is not far away in all probability, and with the mixed reviews on this game you're better off waiting for that to happen.

 

Unless you just want to "Support SV", in which case go nuts. I personally think charity is overrated.

I've heard open beta get thrown around, but is there a good chance that it will come soon?

 

I am also planning on buying this game, even if it is less than an alpha right now. However, I don't want to buy something I could get for free a couple days later. That is my worst fear!

Last word from the devs was that they planned to launch this month.  They said there would be an open beta. Since theres only 3 weeks left in the month I guess open beta should start real soon...  Unless they push the game back.

open beta should be open soon, either 1 week or 2. 

i think 1 week of open beta should be enough.
