WoW Community Site down....Open Beta Announcement??

Haven't been able to get on to the site for sometime now.

Hopefully this is good news.

    The servers are down apparently.. so either:

    1) When the servers went down, the site went down as well(maybe because people flooded the site, or something else).

    2) Open beta is coming. :P

    Remember that a patch just went in the game, so that may be why the site is down(people flooding the site).

    The Comminty Site and it's Forums are linked to the gaming servers. When the servers are down, the site usually is. With the recent patch, I would thnk that has something to do with it.

    Logged out at an Inn?  heh.. I wish..  I was in Duskwood then an announcement came, Server Shutting down in 0:30..  I was like crap..

    But I think its possible that OB announcement could be going up, if they plan on having OB on/before EQ2's live date.  Who knows, anything is possible.

    I'm half way to loading the screen. Earlier ti would say <number>/96 images. Now it says <number>/108 images.::::04::

    Error number <insert number> with a lil turle on it or whatever (lol) means they are changing the site info as well. Could be just the patch info/announcment being added or.....OB. image  And i was wrong about OB ah well. Soon enough then.

    Nope...Caydiem said no open beta as far as she knows...

    They are just updating their own servers while the clients are beeing updated too. All should be back online shortly :)

    Site is up, game servers are not, and no OB info - just patch notes and the like.

    Soon I suspect.
