Returning player question, I figured I would return to LoTRO after getting burned out on DFO. And I had played LoTRO but only to level 26ish. My question is does the new expansion add anything I would be able to use at that level or is it alright if I just wait to get it until I beat the Mines of Moria content(I purchased this when it included mora+game+free month for like $20).

Think you'll be fine without it. You won't have skirmishes and I think you may not have access to shared storage.
Honestly the new expansion is amazing! Doing 3 daily skirmishes gets you half your level from 35-50 (cant comment past 50 as that is the highest level ive skirmished) Not only are skirmishes a blast but the rest of the content in Mirkwood is pretty amazing too...which like you said you wont see until you get finished with Moria but it is definitely worth buying ASAP for any LOTRO subscriber IMHO. Hope this helps.
I suppose I will wait to get the last expansion till I get higher in level, I may even start a new toon not sure. Right now they seem to have a "special" with a 2 month sub price and getting the third free. This is very tempting, if I go that route would I then just purchase the last expansion for the $19.99 when I get to that content? Does the expansion come with a free month or just unlock the content?
Just one more question, this time around I would like to get a house.. at what level do most people tend to buy one, and can sustain it(paying the maint fee's). Sorry for all the questions, I am just waiting for the game to download before I make the purchase and was wanting a better understanding of what's going on.

No worries, its understandable...i had a lot of questions coming back too. No the expansion doesnt come with a free month. You can afford a house around level 40 easy. You can actually afford one earlier than that even but at 35 you have to buy your horse so you will probably need to save up most of your money for that...then wait about 5 levels and save enough money from training and repairs to be able to afford one of the basic houses. So by level 40 you should have enough. Anymore questions just post and i'll mark the thread to e-mail me when there are replies. hope that helped.
