Ya know I was looking at barebone systems on tigerdirect and came across this one:

    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5633678&Sku=B69-1162

Now ... question i have is about the cpu fan. You still need them on the new chips right? I'm assume now more than ever you need to keep that cool. This system doesn't come with a fan and they don't suggest getting one (which is odd since just about every other barebones will have that in the suggestions). Am i just missing it somewhere or is there something with the case itself that helps cool the cpu down more than others? Sorry for my ignorance here ... I'm just a little confused.

When air cooling all cpu's require a heatsink and fan. If the cpu is OEM then you will need to buy a heatsink and fan. If its the full product it should come with it. The way they are picturing it, it looks as if it comes with a heatsink and fan. I don't see were they mentioning it doesn't come with one I might have overlooked it.

Edit:Thats a pretty good build for that price and with up to date parts. I only have 2 problems and they are just my opinion. 1. I'm not a fan of ultra PSU's, I think they are crap. 2. I'm not a fan of Tigerdirect/CompUSA.

I read one of the reviews and it mentioned the cpu comes with a fan. If some reason it doesn't you can complain to TD.
