Crazy lag spikes and rubberbanding while playing.

Hi folks.

Have to say i am really frustrated with this game. This is not to say i dont like it, i do. The thing that gets to me are the  lag spikes and rubberbanding during game play. An example . I just made it to Tortage and if i for example my toon sprints througth certain sections of the city i get about 2000ms lag spike and rubberbanding. It doesnt seem to be so bad when i am in the underhalls. My other alt who is located in in Old Torantia or what ever its called is totally unplayable. If i go to the noble district the lag is the worts in the game.

My hardware is top end. I have an adsl2 connection with 10mbs download speed with an average 25 ms ping.

I have played WOW , EQ2 , Darkfall, GW, Vanguard with no problems.

Any advice?

ping the game in the command thingy ,check if ping get stopped somewhere

check your firewall make sure it doesnt block game if both are ok then

go to speedguide.net and check tweak for you os!

if you still have lag issue contact the game maker and complain about it

make sure you dont put your aa and af graphic card higher then 4x since we re still in 32 bit,its a big problem might have to run the game at the default graphic card setting(yes i know it suck,again complain to game maker so they make their game 64 bit in the futur.)

if all these fail then game maker need to check their end of the stick and probably restart their server!

its fairly accurate you ll se quickly your ping.

Are you playing on the EU servers or the US side? It says you are from Australia which could be the problem because of the distance. That's just my guess.

If you can get the trial to the American version if you are playing the EU side you can test to see if it is laggy or vice versa since I don't know which server you are playing on.

Didn't they have a Oceanic server too? Australians should have a decent ping then, if the server is really down there ^^.

I'm not sure anymore. I know they had one but with the last merge I don' t know if they got merged with EU or US or even how it worked out.

The forums say for PVP Bloodspire is recommended, for PVE Gwahlur. These are US servers. I hope that is of some help.
