So MO is releasing soon and many hopes will obviously be dashed. Some claimed that MO in beta was better than DFO as is and I was just curious as to whether those people were beginning to have thoughts.
I'm curious what features MO will have at launch that DFO didn't have.
More and more former DFO haters are ignoring the lamentings of newbies and trying DFO and now proclaiming its greatness everyday.
I know a lot of people didn't try DFO because they thought that there was only one way to play, from the perspective of someone who didn't understand the game.
1 Month from release for MO. Now that we can see MO for what it is and not what we dreamed it would be, are there any thinking about giving DFO a try now?

I picked up Darkfall after playing MO beta for a while and I am thoroughly hooked on it now. DFO is just a much more stable and polished product at this point.
I think Mortal has a lot of potential though and I expect it will improve greatly in the coming months. I plan to support it and play it eventually as well.
whats funny is they have nothing but an empty world with bugged AI and incomplete combat, they have nothing to release it's pre-alpha. It's really sad after years of developing the game and using a pre-made engine they have nothing to show it's such a scam.
I had high hopes for both MO and DF. Seems like DF is much better choice now. I wish MO to survive but at current state it will be rather difficult. Time will tell.
Ohhh, and I predict a lot of players returning to DF after Mo launch. DF had a really bad release but things now are better than ever and improving.
It is pretty sad, but Mortal Online's launch might actually help Darkfall sell more accounts due to the MO player getting bored in a week because it not having any content to play around with.
I'm pretty much a Darkfall fanboi at this point....but I'm kinda disappointed that MO isn't doing better.
Even if MO was polished and finished for release, Darkfall would still do OK, you see, since they are different games, and some would still prefer one over the other.
That said, my disappointment for MO stems from there being one less good game in the PVP / FFA / Sandbox sub-genre of MMORPGs.
Of course....the phat lady hasn't yet sung on the MO stage...maybe they will miraculously pull this one outta their ass.
