Saw the ad on the home page for "Valkyrie Sky", and since I'm in a lull between betas, I though "Oh, what the heck..the movie looks okay". So, downloaded it, ans "OMG Gamekiss..this can't be good! " (bad history , on my part). So, went through the install, got all set up, patched, then "play".
Much to my surprise, it plays * a bit* reminiscent of *almost* Final Fantasy...but no summons, no ethers, no..okay..it's more a *visual* connotation. A bit confusing, at first, but wow, you actually *can* mix a mmo with a "shooter". And, it's f2p, so "bonus".
I'm not really gonna gush "this is the one", but I will say that it is more than I expected. It'll hold me between betas.

Yeh seems like alot of people have been enjoying that game, and like you i really never payed attention because of gamekiss but it might be worth a try.
