i dont understand i download where it says and name of download is updater i see noway of instaling then when i hit the file mo launcher it gives weird message what to do plz i want to test out also i need to set my desktop to 16 bit to see login text and also is the forum account info different i can go to mo online log in but cant login to forums

Click LINK and read the "Installation" paragraph.  It's all on the same screen where you download the client from.

Also, please refrain from typing in ALL-CAPS, especially in your thread titles.  It is considered obnoxious and rude forum behavior, and makes you look like a spoiled yelling child or something.

Making multiple threads with the same exact title is also something that can get you banned if I'm not mistaken.  Anyhow, don't do it.  (see obnoxious behavior advice I gave you above)

 

If you need further help, please post it in THIS thread, don't make more threads please.  I or someone else can probably help you out.

I've found out that running new patcher in "Win 2003 SP1" compatibility mode helps, at least on Vista.

Still had to restart it few times, but it finally patched the game to latest version.

im not a pc nerd, so here is my pc noob question. I am downoading to torret. when complete I am to extract the .rar-file (or files) to a folder. I want to place this folder into my desktop where I can keep track of it. Unless anyone can share with me a better place to put the made folder. Next, I want to be able to delete this folder when done with game, if on desktop, can I just delete it???

Its where I extracted my files to Seabeast. Once I finished the Torrent I put everything on my desktop by extracting it there made it easier to keep track. The MO Beta Launcher doesn't really have an icon. At least for me anyway.

I got a quick question as well now I was in the 2 previous stress tests and I heard they got a new patch out. Seems I can't actually update my game to the new patch. I suppose I'll have to do this when they open for the stress test tomorrow, but I was wondering about this new patch. I was reading somewhere I might have to delete my old  files? Is this true?  I heard a few people are having problems with this new patch. Thanks for any info

TY Rygar, I will do that, now one more thing. when i extract the said file will i need a program to do so? I have vista premium and not sure if i have to download another program to open that  file. ty again

Orginally you did need a file extractor to put on your desktop a rar.file extractor. I have PeaZip which extracts Rar files.

Although Sea, I just got done Utorrenting this new patch it seems like all I did was right click on it opened containing folder and it put 6 files on comp. This is new for me so I might not be able to help you here lol. As I'm wondering how this is giong to work since I have the old MO client and now this one.  However this mortal online launcher now has an icon so I double clicked on it and its now patching.  So I guess thats all thats prettty much needed.
