First. I was/am amazed by te NGE and how money could be made off of a Pre-nge server, amazed that I am willing to spend money on a product that has existed and no one is willing to take it.
Second. I am currently befuddled because despite my disdain for SOE, I tried Vangaurd and I love the game. It was very hard for me to pay SOE to play that game but I did.
Third. I am now STILL absolutely beside myself that I cannot play Vangaurd becuase I updated my graphic card drivers. . . to play the game I would have to reload older drivers, which of course would screw other things up.
crazy. unbelievable. Two awesome games that I am willing to PAY FOR, and cannot. How does this business stay in business.

This company refuses to make money on what it has and just prefers to look for it in RMT and whatever, depsite owning games that a healthy fanbase loved, and could love again.
Mind boggling tbh.
If you are Nvidia, you have to use an older driver... 190.?? or thereabouts. Anything newer has some sort of conflict with VG which they haven't fixed yet.

It really is an interesting business model SOE uses. They have two games that I am willing to pay monthly for-this one, and classic SWG, but I can't play either. Weird.
I am reading a book on Choice The Art of Choosing and it seems to me that SOE, and the culture from whence is came, does not believe in personal choice...but rather Majority forced decisions.
Whatever, here's my money when they are ready to take it. . . .

The newest Nvidia driver set works great. It took way to long, but there doesn't seem to be a driver conflict anymore.

Funny thing is, I had the latest drivers installed for my vid card, and saw that Blizzard had problems to some of their games using the latest drivers. So I decided to go back and get the previous version, and what do you know, I started getting blue screen from playing VG ever since. It was the first time I've gotten this error too. So I decided to change back.
