I'm kinda just looking for a MMO to play till SW:TOR; but you odnt get me i think, I just dont have the feeling im in the Tolkien universe for real.. so im looking for another game i guess
Currently playing: Fallen Earth
Wants to play: Divergence, Earthrise, Final Fantasy XIV, Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World
Have played these games: Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Aion, Cabal Online, EverQuest II, Guild Wars, Guild Wars Factions, Guild Wars Nightfall, Hellgate: London, Lord of the Rings Online, Runescape and World of Warcraft
I feel weird to ask for a MMo again.. but FE i tried trial bit and I dont feel its something for me. I checked GA but doesn't look like a real "mmo" in my eyes.. anything else you can suggest? there's long time till swtor thats why i need a new game.. Lotro is afterall a wowclone, which is bit dissapointing aswell.. A FTP would be OK but I DEFENTLY prefer PTP 100%.What you think i should do?
To be honest with yah, right now is a horrible time to get into an MMO imo.
If you really must game try out some of the past years single player games, there have been some descent ones that have come out recently.
Basically if you can check off every game that I'm about to list, then mmo's are not for you right now and you will most likely have to wait until next year.
WoW : Eve : Lotro : AOC : WAR : Aion : FE : Darkfall
If none of those games fit your style your basically shit out of luck at this moment in time. There is no magic game out there that everyone is keeping secret, it's just the mmo market right now is pretty much shit. This all being my opinion of course

I have not tried Eve - War - Darkfall - Are they worth trying? I've always been a PvE guy but I'd like to try being PvP aswell. I just heard loads of bad things about WAR and Darkfall.. Eve sounds like its way too hard to get into...

Well Darkfall and Fallen Earth are, if I remember it correctly, 18+. So you still got EVE and WAR left, some F2P games or give LOTRO another chance.
having played both, Lord of the rings online is a lot more polished and enjoyable than FE, in my opinion.
I would probably consider it the second best overall mmo i've played (the best being Eve.)

WAR & Darkfall are almost strictly pvp and Eve has a very big learning curve, its not a game you just pop in and play.
I got two other suggestions for yah, you can look into DDO its a F2P - Cash Shop and if you have never played Guild Wars I think you would might enjoy that even though it's an older game released in early '05 if my memory is correct.
Your profile says you're 16. You have to be 18 and over for those games. And....if you go by those rules....that's going to narrow things down for you even more.
One game I have not seen mentioned is EQ2. What I would suggest with that is that you look up everything you CAN on the web about Everquest 2. But what I can tell you from my perspective, having played it for 2 years:
PRO
-It has the best crafting of any MMO out there, imo, other than perhaps tying with Vanguard (which isn't really an option for multiple reasons that I've been able to figure from what you've said.)
-It has the best player housing.
-LOADS of quests, good PvE, and if you're a HARDCORE PvP'er (which I actually gather you are NOT), then the PvP servers couldn't get much more hardcore
-Very mature community in comparison to other AAA titles, along the same lines as LotRO more or less....the community is so much better than WoW's community, it's almost a polar opposite
-good character customization, even to the point of having "appearance wear" and armor....you can wear whatever you like for people to SEE, while still wearing your armor. So characters tend to look very different....personally, I really loved that
-lots of RP'ers
CON
-The worst thing about EQ2, imo, is it is, like most established MMOs, rather top-heavy. More people are at max level than at the other end. However....a LOT (a whole lot) of people are leveling alts at all different levels and I saw people in every zone. It didn't feel empty.
-It does have RMT (an item store), HOWEVER....the store sells appearance wear, vanity pets, a few potions, and furniture and stuff that doesn't affect your gameplay, but can be fun to have. I put this under negative because it seems to be considered a negative on these forums, although I never thought of it that way myself.
-Can get a bit lonely if you don't join a guild, but....finding and joining the right guild is made VERY easy through their in game guild system that give you people in game to talk to FROM each guild, and gives descriptions of each guild's focus, personality, etc. So this is both a bit negative (if you don't like guilds), or VERY positive if you do.
Anyway....I could go on further but outside of EQ2, from what you've described as what you enjoy and don't....I can't think of anything that hasn't already been suggested, that would be a worthwhile suggestion.
Okay. Well. Darkfall doesn't have a Trial.. so I need some info first or really good arguments why to play it. Id like a PvP only game, thats okay, althought ive been PvE'ing for as long as I remember.
WAR i heard bad things about. That it has no content, it is bad modified, laggy and other crap. So I'm not really sure its worth trying.. Also that the "Tier 1" trial part (endless) is best part of the game.. eh??... Help me.

Well....I misunderstood you then from your original post. I thought you were more into PvE....or maybe a balance of both.
I've played WAR. Unless you like running scenarios (battleground instances) all day...you'll probably get bored with it rather quickly...I sure did.
Darkfall actually really intrigues me, but like you...it's hard for me to shell out money without having an idea if I'm really going to want to stick with something. I am probably going to be doing it anyway, because well...I'm going to have the luxury of affording something new to toy with soon, and I've been crazy curious about it, but...we'll have to see how that goes. I haven't actually PLAYED it yet, so I can't, in good faith, suggest it.
Really there are very few triple A MMOs that haven't been mentioned....
I can only think of Guild Wars, City of Heroes/City of Villians, and maybe Chronicles of Spellborn, all of which I've played, but none of which captured my "gamer love" really, so....
I'm out of ideas, I think, unless you're interested in trying free2play games. With those I would suggest Perfect World or Mabinogi.
And back on the topic of EVE and FE (which you've already tried and don't like)....I've played both (still playing FE) and yes, they have a definite learning curve and probably a pretty niche market, that it doesn't REALLY sound like you're all that interested in.

You must have played EQ1....EQ2 doesn't have old graphics. As a matter of fact, to run it at max settings, you have to have a fairly beastly machine. But if you didn't care for the gameplay, that issue is rather moot anyway. heh
I love Fallen Earth, but I thought you'd already decided against that one. And...it's not really a "jump in and play" sort of game. There is indeed a learning curve, there is also no auto attack (if you happen to like auto attack...personally...I hate it), there is no fast travel and travel distances can be VERY very long. The setting is post-apocalyptic Arizona (which I love, being an ex-Arizona resident), but if you don't like the desert, you might find it bland. Again...on graphics...to run FE at max settings (where it does look really good) you have to have a pretty beastly machine. Some people hate the character animation....meh....I love the gameplay and the crafting and that it takes some amount of intelligence, imo, to play it.
Again...Warhammer in MY opinion....hell no. Darkfall...to me...is very intriguing. But I expect I'm going to die a lot since it IS an FFA loot PvP game FULL OUT.
I don't know....I think I'm out of suggestions. You're as fookin' picky as I am. lol
If you ever played SWG (pre NGE) or UO....then you'll probably like Fallen Earth. If you LOVED WoW and never got bored with it, and like things very easy....you're probably NOT going to like FE.
Well i liked the trial alot, and yes my machine is a beast I ran FE on max setting on 1980x1080p reso.
I think i'll end up buying FE, after all there's no other games to be suggested anymore. And I like the fact that FE developers actually ADD what people ask for and are fixing bugs constantly, and even improved the graphics heavily since launch.. so yes my choice will be on FE. I dont mind long traveling, nor big learning curve.

Play the trial before you play it. But don't forget, since you are agewise not the target audience, parts of the game might not be enjoyable or even harmful for you.
I have played the trial.. and I liked it a lot : )
And you must be joking about that it might be harmful for me.. Todays young people, play 18+ games all the time. Even 12 year old kids does it, without getting any psycic thoughts.

"I'm just still not sure at all. Because yes, I don't like the combat system of FE at ALL."
"but FE i tried trial bit and I dont feel its something for me"
You keep saying things that are very confusing. You say one thing, then go back later and change your mind. It's hard for us to give you ideas if you keep changing your mind =P. First you say you don't like FE, not you say you do. /shrug.
If you want pvp, go darkfall. It has everything. Crafting, open pvp, no "safe" zones. But then again, it may not be for you. The first time you get ganked and everything taken from you, you'd rage quit =P. Remember, at any given time someone can kill you and take everything you had on you.
Your choices are very limited. I couldn't stand FE. The whole system needs work. I unisntalled it a day after I installed it (trial). The choice is ultimately yours. Why not try them all? Will never know what you want until you try it.

To be honest with yah, right now is a horrible time to get into an MMO imo.

I tried EQ2 trial and I didn't like it, I didn't like the play-style and the graphics (not that I hate old graphics, thats fine..).So far my favorite choice is falling on Fallen Earth. I liked it when I played the trial. But I'd concider others aswell (Darkfall, WAR) if I get some arguments or info if they're better than what I can read.

Play the trial before you play it. But don't forget, since you are agewise not the target audience, parts of the game might not be enjoyable or even harmful for you.
Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
