There are a lot of threads here about people looking for a new game.  Some great suggestions in them as well.  I don't see many sci-fi games in your list, but I'll throw Fallen Earth out there for you.  10 day free trial that doesn't require any CC info.  In the Fallen Earth forums here, some great guides have been posted recently that will give you an idea of how the game plays as well as screenshots to check out.

Best of luck in your search!

It was never very popular, but Vanguard's world is enormous and has plenty of customization options, as well as a few nonhuman races. Also, if you're soloing (ie even if you join a guild, you don't ask for help) then you have the pleasure of having one of the most hardcore MMO experiences ever, as well as once you are grouping and such, running dungeons will still be one of the most hardcore experiences.

Outside of duels and the FFA PvP server, Satork, which is mostly dead anyways, the game is completely PvE based. If you get on Seradon and go around asking for a guild, I'm sure you'll find one pretty easily. =D

As with all Sony Station games, you can load up the Station Launcher and start a 14 day free trial with no CC info if you want to. However, the trial is restricted to the Isle of Dawn until you pay and then you can move your char over to the mainlands.

Ye i would say vanguard is a good bet, but imo the game would just be a whole lot better if you had some people to level with me considering there's alot of party based quests and dungeons on the lower side. Also the game is very grindy once your in the top lvls with not much reward.
