Worst thing they could do right now is release an incomplete product. They're already under the microscope for not being ready, so hopefully this will keep things down a bit.
Not really official, until they announce release dates. Even if it is March... the logical thing is to make the release date announcement as March is about a month away.
of course there just giving a tiem frame that isnt really there

Agree it not official until they actually give us an official update. Waiting 2 days before they said they were going to launch it to push it back for another month. Love how professional these guys are!

I don't see the problem. They never gave an official date, they said they were pushing it back a month, and now they're pushing it back again it would seem. If you expect a game to release, when there's no release date set then I don't know what to tell you. Blizzard did the same thing with the TBC expansion, if they can't keep their dates how can you expect StarVault to?
On a side note: This is great if true. Another month or two can go a long way toward adding stability to the launch. As it is now, the game is lacking content pretty badly. Two months is enough time for them to add the rest of the mobs and maybe even the magic system.

Almost a year ago to the day the same thing was being done by another "top notch" company with almost the same initials and a group of designers with just as much knowledge and skill. Only difference was a big mouth lying PR man and they were on the Southern end of Europe.
Glad to see that history is repeating itself faster and faster.

Why do people want a game to release in a unfinished state?
I know you guys pre-ordered the game but at least they let you play during the beta process.

Yeah, we all know. But Rockgod was asking why people would want it to release now (even in an unfinished state). The answer is going to hurt you and all the trolls out there. It's because the game, even in this state, is fun to those people, and all they want to do is roll a permanent character... which would mean releasing the game.
Obviously, it's good SV decided not to listen to those people.

When I tested WAR i was kicking and screaming for that game to be held for six more months.
If I were a MO fan I would be going crazy to get it held until 2011 not bitch because they delayed the game.

they will delay it until there core features are polished enoughf or release not saying it will be 100% but yea
well, it's about time they update the release info as Q4 2009 is no more lol
