Well, it depends on how you approach the game.

If you are going to log in expecting a completely different experience then you aren't going to get that.

If you log into the game and expect a somwhat snappier interface, more streamlined (read: removed some of the unpopular stuff) gameplay, and a devoted playerbase then you won't be dissapointed.

Sure, some larger public quests just don't get people. But I do see that there is RVR happening and that there is the constant struggle to claim land of the dead.

    there are players.

T1 and T4 seem to be doing well. I can't speak for the other tiers.

I hear that as well. But I don't know if that is true. Unless someone has reliable info on numbers.

I have a character on Iron Rock and it seems fine.

Badlands is the largest by a slight margin followed closely by Iron Rock.

Maybe I will reinstall it and give it a go just for the sake of seeing it for myself.

That is about the only way anyone can know for themselves the condition the game is in is to give it an honest chance for themselves.

There is a free 10 day trial period for all content if your account was inactive for more than 90 days.  I would actually give it a shot once 1.3.4 releases but it might be a little bit delayed because they are listening to the subscribers and altering the streamlining of scens.

IF you were not happy with end game you most likely will not be happy with endgame still until at least 1.3.5.  Andy Quoted that in 1.3.5 they are finally changing citys to be PURE RVR and it seems like they might become HUGE ORVR lakes and not instanced anymore.

World RVR is more frequent now than Scenario's  I think. But then again, you get better infamy rewards these days. T2 and 3 equals 10 epics per tier.
