General: Altis Gates: Open Beta Begins Feb. 2

IGG has announced that their upcoming MMOG, Altis Gates, will be entering Closed Beta on February 2nd at 8PM EST. The beta will conclude 10 days later on February 11th, and all characters and data from the Alpha and Beta tests will then be wiped. The key difference between the Altis Gates Alpha test and the upcoming Beta test will be exclusivity. The closed beta will be much easier to get into than the Alpha test was, with multiple media outlets to offer keys for the event.

Testers who were already part of the Alpha test will be grandfathered into the Closed Beta test, simply patch your Alpha client and get ready to go on February 2nd!

Good lord, another IGG game?  Can someone please put IGG out of its misery?

 

And why on earth does MMORPG.com continually flood its channel and drown out what is otherwise interesting MMORPG news with this trite, boring, uncreative, unoriginal and absolutely "unfun" IGG drivel? 

 

Jeez, enough already.  The MMORPG market is simply larger in East Asia than here (by sheer population numbers), so we in the smaller Western markets don't need to hear about every little bit of garbage that gets shoved upon us from over there, do we?

Eh...there were only human models in alpha.

It's like a rip-off of Stone Age 2 set in an alternate Atlantica with some extra fluff.

As hyped up as I was, I wasn't impressed.

Not to mention, random encounters will kill the game for many people.

This is to all those who have something bad to say about Altis Gates.

 

Why dont you try it before you run your mouth.  Just because no one loves you doesnt mean you have to trash something you werent special enough to join.  Next time stick with your WoW or w/e other game you want to play while the rest of us enjoy ourselfs.  Thats all you ppl are worth me saying to you.

 and your saying it as if the west also don't deliver us crap every once in a while as well

altis gates just finished the alpha test..i cant believe the OB is coming so quickly..
