Hey guys, i just download the torrent of this game and start installing it.
I just notice that the launcher is some kind of black and red box(lol) that i need to put my account name and password.There is Also a -cache- to where i need to put the folder of the game installation that i just unzipped.
For some reason i cant login as its saying autrhentification failed. Is this any normal? do i have to wait until feb 1 to start patching?

im actually looking at the file on my computer and its saying 3.84gig to be exact.
Anyone has an answer on this problem?

Yes... there is a version ending in .18 (which is what you have) and a version ending in .18B
You need the one ending in .18B... which you will then need to patch to .19 or .19B.. here are the directions (and no I am NOT making this up.. these are the directions on how to patch the game.. taken directly from the website with no modifications. Here is the link as well):

As with this patch there is a new patcher, because testing the patcher is part of the beta test SV hasn't made a full v o.12.17.19 torrent. So there are special steps to go about downloading the new client. If you encounter any problems post it on the bug tracker here http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/bugtracker.php

SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE HEARD THERE IS A QUICKER WAY TO DO THIS DL, SV AND THE MOD TEAM DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS, AND WILL NOT SUPPORT YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE QUICKER WAY!!!!
Also the steps maybe a bit different for each person, but should roughly be the same.
Step 1
Remove the old client files you have on your computer
Step 2
Go to here

click on the download link
You can also download from atomic gamer (around ~200kb/s)

NOTE: You will be downloading v 0.12.16.18B, which is not a rar file.
Step 3
Point the download (torrent) at the folder you want to have the files in
Example:
C:MObeta
It will start to download the v 0.12.16.18 client, along with the new patcher in total 4.9 Gigs.
Step 4
Wait for it to finish downloading, once done copy and paste it into another place so you have 2 versions of it.
Step 5
Go into the files, find the Updater.exe, it should be in the file folder you pasted.
Step 6
It should start a 450mb download, and now wait for it to finish downloading
Step 7
You will go past the 450mb mark and you will get a error that there was a error with the download, exit out of the updater, and restart it
Step 8
The updater will not work again, you will get it non responsive, there should be a error that says it stop working. Close it and restart the updater again.
Step 9
The patcher will start to dl a small update (size unknown). After it downloads there will be a install screen that pops up, hit next to start installing. You might get a can not rename error when installing.
Step 10
You will get a error that you can't rename a file, hit ok, and repeat step 10, till it stops giving you that error and you move on to the next step
Step 11
You will start to download a 10mb patch
Step 12
You will get another error, restart the patcher
Step 13
Hit play
IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE PATCHING PROCESS, YOU WILL NEED TO RUN THE LAUNCHER MULTIPLE TIMES!
Notes
Please note that you will be downloading a 4.9 Gig from the torrent as the torrent isn't compressed into a rar.
You should be downloading a 450mb patch with the new patcher.
The patcher will freeze at somepoint after 95% so just wait a little bit and it should unfreeze after awhile, just don't do anything to the patcher.
You can turn off the music in the patcher by pressing a small pause button on the right hand side of the patcher
Tips
You can also run the updater in compatiblity for Windows Server 2003 (service pack 1) to skip (step 7 and step 12) a few of the steps and fix some of the errors.
Once it is done make sure the following drivers/tools are installed and up to date.
The game will NOT work with outdated versions.

NO GAME patcher of any successful game has ever been this compilcated and arcane.
This reeks of total fail and should show any interested parties what they have to look forward to. Newbie coders writing amatuer code for newbie MMORPG players that think they are hardcore.

Mhhhhh.............I thought it was more complicated than it actually was.
I just clicked on the updater.exe which updated the launcher.exe and it worked.
The only thing I am not sure is if my account is allowed to play beta.
I created a new account, but when I try to log in game it says "username or password incorrect", I know OB starts tomorrow, but it should say "unable to connect with authentication server" not that my account details are incorrect.
Is it normal?

I guess you missed the part about beta testing the patcher im sure it will be fixed. BUt We are beta testing the new patcher. and there has been new revisions of it already

umm lost seeds maybe you try a restart of the patcher
I'm logging in fine with my account at https://account.mortalonline.com/account/login.php. I would get a password reset sent to your email and reset it and if you forgot your username then you will have to try and figure it out hehe. I'm not sure how to get the username.
