Trial outside of NA and PAL regions?

in Final Fantasy XI

'lo all... Just wanted to see if it's possible to try out the game somehow without being in the aforementioned areas, given how I live in the Caribbean, which makes me unable to download the trial from FilePlanet. Would finding a torrent and using a trial key work, perchance?
