in Darkfall

trying to purchase DFO and it says the site is down? wanted to ask the DFO community what was up? patch? maintenance? circle jerk? tummy ache? lol thanks... just wanted to know what was up and hopefully see u in game soon : D

also any postive feedback about the game would be awesome so i can get even more pumped for this game!

    Haha, I was there! Actually, looking back on it, I sort of had fun in a twisted kind of way. Kind of like a mini-game before the game (wasn't so mini really, lasted ten days for me.)

    No.
    DF is twice more popular than EVE because DF have 2 servers and EVE only 1.

    It's new. It's a niche game, catered to the specifics of a particular kind of gamer. It's never been advertised from the onset of being a mass market aimed game. It's a long term game, where you have to work for every little bit you earn. Both the Europe and NA servers can hold I think they said 10k people or so. And I think they both are around that limit, so who knows, they may open another server for both sides of the world. It does make it better to have just one server, it makes the entire world one massive community, to where if you make a name for yourself, the whole gaming community of Darkfall knows it. There are a LOT of perks to having just one server in a game like this. It's one of its biggest draws for me actually, while I was thinking about subbing to it or not. It doesn't have hundreds of thousands of players, but I'm sure the game world looks alive and thriving, and you'll have no problem ganking, and being ganked. I personally can't wait for the account managment section to be up and running again, so that I can buy the game myself.

    Both servers can hold 10k people playing not subbing... But actually I guess they can hold more than 10k.

    You are fooked. The servers have hit pop cap. They arnt selling it anymore.
