Why won't the payload move or the objective convert to my team? I keep running around and killing people, but that stupid stuff is broken or something.
That red area means STAY AWAY, doesn't it? I guess I'll go chase people around maps more and yell at medics for not healing me... the friggin noobs.
OMFG why do I keep losing in PvP this game is horrible.

I don't get why people can't choose a clear title for their threads.
The red area doesn't mean "stay away". You and your teammates have to STAND ON IT. Then it will turn blue and start to move. You have to move with it to get it across the map.

Have you EVER played payload in any game? Like TF2?
ROFL - THIS ^^
haha - this was a great thread....
I sense sarcasm in the op's thread
I picked up on the OPs sarcasm, but decided to post anyway because there are a ton of seemingly clueless people on Payload maps.

The important thing is to have lots and lots of snipers, you really can't have enough.

Some people are clueless on all the point takes. At least payload has an obvious affect stay on it and it moves. I was in one scramble which we won. But on the first two we had like 3 medics and 2 assaults on points with the recons taking out the turrets and sometimes getting on the point. Then the assaults just went stupid and started trying to snipe ppl and never got on the point and I don't even know exactly what the two robos were doing, finally all the recons and medics got on the last point and we won. Only time I have seen only medics and recons take a point.
But the stupidity goes two ways some people think everyone should get on the point. That is just as stupid. Recons should recon, setting up mines and taking out turrets and robo are good for creating advance bases in payload. If there is a rocket turret somewhere and the recon is on point instead of sniping it he will just die and turret won't get countered.
In scramble if you are an assault and just shooting at the point and not on the point and they have like 6 guys on it with medics and assaults and its only 10% of the bar left then just leave and go get in place to find the next point. Because shooting there does almost nothing. Either get on the point and delay them with your Cooldowns or just go to the next one. A recon shooting in that situation makes sense because he will die in a heartbeat on the point (assuming his bombs are on CD but you can't stand aroudn even after the bomb).
I take it you've run into a couple of people like that so far?
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Well i play a destroyer specced assault with the grenade launcher and i love seeing 6+ people on the point. I put out insane aoe damage and have managed to win back a control point single-handedly a couple of times. Scramble is my favourite map type and i've had some great fights.
