as an after thought, if you would also like to see a 3D MMORPG say it here, you never know who might be watching the forums.
What is an altimate?
its a badly spelt word init, but 10 points for spoting i cant spell
3D with visors always give me a headache.
Lets wait for true 3D holo tv/games instead
Hope I'm still alive when virtual reality mmorpgs will be released
It's an idea to toy around with...but I just bought a TV last year. No way am I buying another one just for 3D until it becomes a lot more mainstream.
Just a guess...
Your 'best' alt.
nvidia 3d vision + 120hz refresh rate monitor = enjoy 3d games
Would need a mode to shut it off. That 3d nonsense runs ravage on the eyes. Much more strain then I want for long hours of nerding it out on the game.
I dont think 3d is even up to speed yet in movies. No way it would work in a game.
Just a guess...

LOL my first thought was "hmm wtf altimate? Is that a really bad spelled word... or a clever topic title for alts?"
As far as the 3D goes... I'm all for it. I really don't know much about how 3D technology works, but they better be having a 3D ON/Off switch. I can't imagine playing a mmorpg on 3D all the time. People would probably start going blind or get a messed up brain after awhile.

wow nice post, im kinda torn now which way to go, i currently run my PS3 through a projector which rocks, i was gonna wait for the 3D update from PS3 and try n get hold of a compatable projector or reluctantly downsize to a tv, although im not sure i could cope with saying goodbye to my 7 feet projector screen.
but now im thinking maybe i could go down the 120 htz screen PC route, what with it being tried and tested tec thats already out there.....
