Why a 5.9 hype?

i was reading the comments about the game, and alot of them were good. I gave the game a 10, and so did alot of people, so why is it a 5.6? Im sure its these noobs that want to give it a 1.0, even though they know nothing about the game.

the fact is....we are one of the few games that do not hide our in-development images, So a lot of our older images just suck lol

also...your always going to get the WoW and SOE fan boys to talk crap no matter what we do.

if i had 35-40 million dollars i could make a game just like there (not that i would want to). The truth is we do this for FUN.....We are "GAMERS MAKING GAMES FOR GAMERS" and can not be compared to the big companies. This is a Homemade Game

the low rate don't bug me really....there will always be non-informed people that talk crap about anything that is not the next game there going to play.  I for one like a ton of different games and enjoy playing them all....from games like UO to WoW......and everything else

yeah most of the people who rated it didn't even play the game, they saw a few shitty images and figured it sucked... not taking into account 2 years Dev left, and the fact that its a really fun game to play.

well i would call it pretty sucking if i see 5000 registred users and 0 online in game...

have you played it? how can u say what its like then... u can't.

If u look at the game now in comparioson to a few months ago... there are alot more improvements in the graphics and things like that. There are 2 more years before it even enters BETA... and the game is unique.

As drac said, its a game created by gamers for gamers. They listen to the peoples thoughts and opinions and encourperates that into their vision sometimes. the team are really cool too, up for a larf, and willing to bare all... er.. not in the nudity sense.. in the sense of their game.

Graphics don't maketh the game either... I mean look at EQ 2... and look how fun EQ 1 was in comparisson.. even with the shitty graphics... and there were alot more games with better graphics than that, and yeah the did improve them after 4 expantions....

Its the people, the story, the funtions and atributes, the whole total role playing experiance that matters in mmorpgs... some people have seem to forget that.

HEY man, thats wrong . . and BS. I gave this game a 10 becuase It has a great potental and now you want to raise up about saying the word ALWAYS and then talk smak about the WoW fans not liking FreeWorld.

What are you trying to say? That you can't impress fans of Warcraft becuase hey, Freeworld has very much impressed me and if you still think that.......

I'm sorry if i gave you the wrong impression......when i use the word "Fan Boy" I'm talking about people that pick one game they will like and think all other games are crap no mater how good they are.

I'm not saying all WoW fans will not like FreeWorld and not all WoW fans are "Fan Boys".

the truth is both WoW and EQ2 are great games and where made by a very talented group of Game Devs. Both of these games (like a lot of other MMORPGs) deserver a HUGE amount of praise, But i do not support people that trash every game but the one they are going to play next (IE Fan Boys)

if you read over the Game list i think you will see what I'm talking about......it happens with ALL games on this website not just freeworld.

i hope this clears up the confusion and i hope to see you in the next test phase of FreeWorld

Not to start a war, but I've had more fun watching EQ2 than I ever did PLAYING EQ1. Theres just so much more to the combat and crafting systems.

WoW I'm having a blast with.

FreeWorld I haven't played for a couple months, though when I have, I'm really playing as a tester and trying to work though bugs and make the game all it can be.

EQII sucks.. I played it on beta and was utterly disapointed. It looks good, i will give it that.. even if a bit shakey sometimes... but thats about it. I dunno.. EQ was my most loved and hated mmorpg, and i play FFXI and i was testing freeworld.. but due to real life i don't have much time to do anything really.

I want to play the game, but the sign up closes, I cannot get the Cient or my account... I think it's going P2P and there is another reason why people rated 5 or below cause the game just closed the beta testing sign ups.

They're two of the larger mmorpgs.  It's always bash on the big guys.....And the little guys.....and the guys in between......hmmm.....it's just alot of bashing I guess...

From the negative half of things I hear about these games, it isn't hard to imagine bashing them, and then fromthe positive half of things I hear about them......it still isn't hard to imagine bashing them....hehe I don't care either way, but it is fun to watch the fireworks somtimes(flamewars)

This game needs to become more famous because it is a great game, im suprised that the max amount of people that played this game that i saw was only like 23 people, if more people knew about this game it would fix that problem

Why a 5.9 hype?

The answer is simple.... Different folks with different tastes I have been searching for a game since early UO that incorperates crafting as a pursueable profession and not as an afterthought...So while I might give this game a 7 for the pontential for other profession that fighting, others might see the additional professions as a detriment.

I do think this game has great potential, but i fear that i'm a graphicswhore (i haven't rated the game yet and i probably won't cause i don't want to give a wrong impression)

I tested this game a few days about 1 year ago or something, now don't throw rocks at me but back then the graphics weren't that.. overwhelming .. BUT the combat mechanics were awesome (although i couldn't figure out how the Letter function of the spells worked, i did really like the fact that spells weren't just buttons you had to push, you could make them better someway... or it could just be me )

Anyway i hope you guys keep working on it... Cause as you might already now, they're lots of free projects out there that made it to the big picture
