So you've changed your mind and went i5? You should consider an AMD quad build and put the money you saved into the GPU.
I actually did go with the AMD. See specs above. And the 4850 is plenty enough for me. And at a $123 price point, adding another will be easy. I don't need DX11 now and it's like I said before, this will get me through the year because I'm dropping $2,000 or more next year. So no point in going overboard. Besides. If I went i5, I'd eventually want the i7 or i9 if it's out next year.

The card has a 6-pin connection on the end but my last PSU had an extra one. Plus the card comes with a 4-pin molex adapter so I should be good.

Yep. The PSU has one PCI Express 6-pin connector.
