If the box that they sent those of us stupid enough to pre-order the game is any indicator, this game will suck complete rocks... I played the "beta" errrr Alpha a few months back and the game was terrible. Then out of the blue, wayyyyyy past when it was originally supposed to arrive a package from Sweden shows up in my mail box. An opened tin game case with a dvd-rom inside... thats it. No booklet, nothing... just a disk.
Lets be honest here... the only reason this company sent out anything was to avoid being sued for not holding up their end of the bargain... And given what they sent... they should have just kept this crap. Mortal your game sucks, your customer service is a joke, and your company will fail in less than a year. Have fun!

customer isnt always right. in this case botha re wrong SV should have just said youll get the boxes at release

Wait till you try and use that DVD.. the fun has just begun! You will find that the DVD is useless and contains a client that cannot be used/updated to play the game. For all intents and purposes they could have sent you a blank DVD and it would have been more useful.

Wait till you try and use that DVD.. the fun has just begun! You will find that the DVD is useless and contains a client that cannot be used/updated to play the game. For all intents and purposes they could have sent you a blank DVD and it would have been more useful.

Don't keep that tin box. There is this show on televisions called Hoarders and those freaks keep everything. You don't want to be one of those hoarders man so trash that crap. I wonder if this game is going to be playable before UO get's their next graphics update. Hope that wasn't a rumor. I started following this game because their FAQ said their were inspired by old games like UO if I recall.

To the OP..
I just received my worthless piece of tin in the mail as well yesterday.. I didn't even take the dvd out to try to install the game... After reading about how horrible the game is atm, I'm not even going to waste my time at least until the game officially releases.. Then I'll DL the game and try it out.. I'm sure it will be worse than D&L which means I'll most likely cancel my sub within minutes after playing...
I just cant believe these small time Euro companies can get away with robbing the public.. They make fictional promises we the stupid consumer's fall for, and then get bit in the buttocks after giving them our hard earned cash...
Simply ridiculous... I'll never again pay for another european MMO from a small no name company...

you had a choice to buy or not, nobody forced you. You should have done your research better and more importantly,. learned from the past. You mentioned, D&L game, clearly you have learned nothing since that example and many others. You do admit to stupidity, so I guess you have your answer.

Absolutely. If you expect to be treated like crap, then you will never be let down.

ofcourse you dont like it when the truth hurts, proves hes point though.
I feel ya man... All these people saying "buyer be ware" are retarded... Because anything they have ever purchased that was broke, or did not work as advertised they returned... By their own admission, they should have kept all that crap they bought. But of course they don't which makes their comments pointless.
As for the others commenting on the Euro trash remark... I have never, ever been screwed by an MMO company like I have with MO. And that includes being an SWG player since beta... yeah my dislike for MO is even greater than SOE and thats saying something.
MO is in beta, it is not a released product. Why did you buy it? why did you trust game devs who are obviously trying to sell their game, they are salesman in a way. Why do you blindly believe people that try to sell you stuff when you can as easily spend a few hours reading what people already in the game are saying about it? Have you never had any experience with "indie" dev teams?
Point stands, naive buyers who were to lazy to do any research deserve no sympathy.
Yes.. and people that walk down the "wrong" street deserve to be mugged as they should have known better. People who are fleeced by investment sceamers like Bernie Maddoff are getting what they deserve because they should have done more research.
It's obviously always the victims fault.
Once again.. it's a wonderful world we live in where at least society has minimal rules for conducting business. When businesses break these rules the customers have a variety of ways to recover their money. At least everyone I have heard of who has tried to get their money back (in the EU or the US) has been successful. THAT should tell you something.
