All characters are being wiped. So says IRC...

 A patch and all characters are being wiped. Because of a database 'issue'. So sayeth Sebastian.

And something about no more starter axes. Not sure about that being real or not.

    Isn't this game still in beta? I guess you should just enjoy you got to play at all.

    Big deal. Most betas get wiped at least once for one reason or another.

    Characters normally get wiped in closed beta. It's much less common in open betas...

    You do still start with a starter axe.
