PvP was why I never gave EQ2 much of a try, I want both that and PvE,so how is the new system? Is PvP still crap, or is it fun and rewarding now?

Battleground will go live on 23rd February it think. There will be PVP-Gear and other Stuff you can gain through Battlegrounds. I havent played Beta but i read from some folks that it is quiet fun and much better then Arenas.

If your question boils down to whether the PvP servers are still loaded with gankers and twinks, then yes.

One other thing since I don't want to spam the forum, how is the grind?

I should preface by stating that I haven't played since the last expansion, but even then the grind was almost non-existant.  It's very easy to solo your way up through questing in no time.  From what I've read, the new expansion allows you to make it from the old level cap to the new in about 8 hours or so, casually.

That's just what I've read, though.

But it's so subjective. Even if I knew more about EQ 2's pvp situation I couldn't answer your question.

Why did you think it crap?

    What do you consider fun?

    What do you consider rewarding.

If you give people these bits then they would much better be able to answer your question.

I mainly want to be able to play my class (going tank, not sure which one, thinking Paladin or zerker) without another class being able to destroy me with a glance. And I want my pvp combat to revolve around more than 3 or 4 skills.

The main problem I had with pvp was how imbalanced it was, whether by numbers, or by classes destroying others.

I consider it rewarding when I win not from being cheap, but from knowing how my class works.

And the grind I wish to know of is from 1, to cap.
