Take a look at this trailer featuring the upcoming survival horror Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

For me, it was as if I were there. Was it any scary/ier for you? :)

    Kind of hard to be scared of a video game trailer, especially when you can't see 3/4th's of the video.

    Nope not scary at all for me but I'm not easily scared.

    Could be a decent survival horror if there are more things like the part hiding from them in the room and the rest inside that room.

    ooooo I liked that alot. I especially like how you can lift things/move things, and actually open doors.

     Looks interesting but where's the dude's weapon? I'd have tried to fight that thing he was hiding in the closet from.

    men i really loved the mood !its rare they get the mood right in those genre but this one trailer outch

    Thanks for posting this!  I had no idea that Frictional was developing more games like this.  The Penumbra series was awesome and this looks very similar.

    type of game to play alone at night in silence =)

    not scary at all but looks like the npc is going to need asult diapers on his adventure. F.E.A.R. didn't scare me so i'm not suprised this game trailer didn't. looks interesting though.

    well, you should work for them. I am officially going to follow and buy this game. I know several others who would love a game like this.

    You can preorder it for 20$. However, you might check first into a previous game made by the same studio, Penumbra, which includes a demo. I'm saying this because someone mentioned, judging by the trailer posted above, the similarities between the 2 titles.

     

    They promised extra game content if they reach the 2 000 preorders milestone before 31st of May :)

    This game looks sweet,  I haven't played any of the Penumbra games but I'll have to check into them now. I really like how you can interact with the environment move things but like someone else said, where is the dudes arms?  I don't know much about making games but it just cuts down the immersion when things are just floating in front of you.

    Very cool trailer. I like the interactive elements to the game and the atmosphere. I'll have to try the demo once my computer is done defragging. There's not enough Survival horror games out there. We need more.

    I'll try again but it doesn't seem like I can preorder it in NA just yet.

    edit: I take that back you can preorder it in NA.

    Looks cool. Seems a game im looking forward  to.

    Goone keep track of this one.

    Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
    In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

    Looks really cool! I love good horror games but sadly most of them are crap. Realms of the haunting and Silent hill 2 are my favourites. Dowloading the demo for Penumbra now to see what its like :)

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

    Looks good. I'll have to check it out. I LOVE horror games.

    On that note....if you havn't yet, check out Bethesda's Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of the Earth.

    It's a little dated now, but you better wear a diaper...this game will give you a heart attack.
