just bought it and have a couple Q's

i posted this on the official forums, but there seems to be more activity on this site and im really anxious to play.

i recently DL the trial, enjoyed it and decided to purchase the game. I went to best buy and paid $20 for the game (not including the new x-pac) and it also came with 60 days of free subscription.

I got home installed it all fine, but when i went to boot it, it asked for my credit card # and said i will be billed now and again on march 21, 2010. It never asked me for my game activation code.

Also when i went to play it, it starts updating itself with about 10GB of data. Is that normal? i can understand some patches after the game was packaged, but 10GB? im really anxious to play it and dont want to wait 6-8 hours for my internet to DL it.

i bought The Complete Collection, btw.

If theres anything i did wrong, or can do right, please let me know! thanks!

there should have been a place to put your activation code if your using station cash

with station cash you should get the game streamed (it download the first gig of data then stream the rest ,but since its a specific process no sure if you can hop from one to the other .

just keep checking their place you posted they respond (just take a while since most guild are on schedule,ex:we run on monday and friday)

just wait a bit ,i suggest you remove what you did and reinstall with their stream service!

on this page select:select redeem a code

follow instruction it should offer you to stream

in account management its offered where you enter your name it says beta station luncher

i use it all the time pretty smooth service just make sure to only select what you want because they got it all in that station luncher

ps:select the proper langage and country since i selected the one i had there is japan ,europe france etc

thanks for the quick response...i was able to follow your link and enter in my code and it accepted it fine, but it still shows that i was billed and going to be billed again next month. I honestly think i skipped over that field thinking it was where you enter in your timecard # and not the activation info, whoops. i filled out a ticket to Sony regarding the payment so hopefully they can get that fixed.

also im unsure how to stream the game. should i stop the updating and uninstall the game? i have 5 and  half gigs left so hopefully im playing in a few hours, i might just find something else to do till then.

where you had to punch in your card you had to click on the small square box saying you wanted to use time card

best bet is to try to get a hold of them or comunicate with them tomorrow when they re open

as for the stream thing it depends on your connection speed 10 gig take  a while to download

then you will probably have to update . i d let it run

just make sure you received a confirmation saying they received your ticket they ll probably send you info on how to proceed or ask you to call them up .beats me since i never had this issue

sorry i couldnt be of more help .its true their station system is nickel but having both system avail is kind of confusing!
