How exactly does one start EQ2? I know the sixth expansion pack just released so if I were to buy that would I be covered for all content made prior to the expansion? (Including the original EQ2 game) Thanks any relevant info would be greatly appreciated!

You get everything, e.g., all previous expansions, the base game, and adventure packs.
If you're new it's pretty good value having all the expansions and base game and a free month. If you're not new it's not at all good value.
