LF "life skill", crafting, and pvp
Im looking for a game:
Graphics: 2D, 2.5D, or 3D with locked isometric camera.
Prefer modern game, but classic works too. Must have an active community. I do not want to run around an empty town.
The game must have "life skills" such as cooking, fire making, logging, fishing.
It must also have crafting such as blacksmithing, tailoring, fletching.
PvP matters the most to me, as its competition with other players. I do not care for "end game" raiding, its boring. World PvP is the best, but if its limited to minigames like WoW's battlegrounds, capture the flag, king of the hill, that will be fine.
Character Control:
Must have a lot of control over my character, like Diablo 2. I click, i move to that location. Movement should be client-side. No lag between click and movement. I do not want to move to squares along a path, i want to follow the line between my character and the mouse click. No left, up, left, up, up, left. Just follow the line.
Sound is more important than graphics. Scary music/sounds when i walk into a new room in a dungeon is good. Party music in a dungeon is not good.
Must not be asian anime cartoon graphics/characters.
Prefer grey/black tinting for shadows and stuff. Not WoW's blue-green tinting.
Diablo 2 LoD remains my favorite game ever so if its close tho that than great.
If anyone knows of a good game let me know. Ill play it even if its not MMO. If it is "online but not mmo" is must be server-side like Closed-BNet on Diablo 2. I wont play "Open BNet".
