got a fast question for anyone who might know

in Final Fantasy XIV

ok, i've played MMO games on my comps forever (well since EQ1).  I know i will want to play ff14 (at least to try)-- I loved ff11.

 

Well, now in addition to my PC i've got a PS3.  I still envision myself playing more on my PC but for days i'm sick or lazy or just feel like chilling in bed playing a game, I was thinking about getting ff14 for the PS3 as well,

 

My question is simply whether I could use the same account on both machines (PC when i feel like, PS3 when I feel like).

 

If anyone knows I'd love an answer

    Hey man yes you can use both accounts on seperate machines, so long as you buy the disks for each platform. i also intend to buy both PC and PS3 vesrsions as it means occasionally i can kick back on the sofa and do some relaxing stuff. whilst going hardcore on my PC.

     

    So yeah you can play the same account on different platforms :)

     also they have built FFXIV on ps3 to support mouse and keyboard, so if you dont like the control/keyboard combo, you have somthing else to add to it being just acsessable on 2 platforms.

     Couldnt you just buy the PS3 version, then download the client on the computer and use the same account?

    MMOs played: Too many

    We don't know if it will require a serial number to either install or create an online account.  I hoping it doesn't require a serial because I plan to buy the PS3 version and dl the PC one.  I'm willing to buy both but if I can save some loot I will.

    With FFXI, can't you download the free trial just to get the client and then log in with the ID you registered when you first bought the game?
