I would say out of all games on your list, DAoC was the most fun....in its time....but that time has come and gone. AoC has the best combat system out of all those listed, but there are just so many other issues with the game that make it less than fun.
For now EVE is probably the best PvP game on the market followed by Darkfall, which as you pointed out, suffers from 1st person only view.
Out of those listed I would pick AoC due to the superior controls of that game. However, you are missing a lot of games that are superior in pvp than those listed.
Voted for lineage 2, loved it for the fact their was no sides and the players made thier own politics, fairly good flagging system so you know whos your friend and whos your foe. Daoc was a good game too had much fun on that, AOC was a bit of a griefer fest but i suppose the yanks loved it. Allods has enjoyable pvp but is still in beta so wtf it doing in your poll, never tried everquest.
But then Darkfall pisses all over this lot as does UO, EVE and AC so your poll is a bit lacking in good pvp games, but imo having tried alot of pvp mmorpgs Darkfall is the mofo'ing daddy and its even got a 7 day trial now for only a dollar so uve no excuses...
This pole was meant to pick a game today, not how good it was in its hayday. I know pvpers like darkfall Ive played it since launch on EU and its missing a lot.
Shadowbane was so much better than the ones on the list that I get more PvP excitement looking at the now useless CD in it's case than I do actually playing any of those.
MMORPG? Sometimes PvP is fun for a short while, but never played an MMORPG where I thought PvP was better or even equal to the games I mentioned first in this post. PvP in MMORPGs is a fun distraction every now and then, but not more.
Age of Conan - list worthy, a highly active mmo still today
EQ2 - not a PvP focused game
Lineage 2 - Blegh
Allods Online - Your joking right? an overpriced unbalanced item mall game?
Dark Age of Camelot - Long gone from its prime
Add Darkfall, WoW, EVE, Guild Wars, WAR, and maybe a few more and we'll talk
Now that I think about it though, I have a feeling this list was just a few games the OP didnt play yet and hes just looking for a new game, and he didnt put Darkfall in cuz hes one of those 1st person MMOs arent MMO believers
MMOs played: Too many Watch List: FFXIV, CoH:GR, GW2, SWTOR, TERA, Earthrise
Just trying to live long enough to play a new, released MMORPG, playing New Worlds atm

OP: Give me one good reason why the game with the best "tight controls of your avatar" is not even included as an option. It is also the only one which is recognized on ESPN as an e-sport mmorpg (if that's not player vs player than nothing is). PvP is just that: you fight the enemy with tight responsive controls of your 3rd person avatar. Simple: there is no reason to exclude the obvious one.

This is a really bad poll. You left out all of my favorite PvP MMOs...
Such as UO, Darkfall, Shadowbane, AC.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
This list is horrid
