Game unplayable for me
So i downloaded the game yesterday and paid the 1$ for the 7 day trial. What a waste of money for me. 
Once I was able to log in to the game I was unable to play. The game continued to freeze when i switched between play mode and interface mode. I couldnt even move around the map. I quit restarted many times and have had the same issue over and over. My system is only 3 months old and is a $2000 gaming system so i know its not my system. However has there been any issues with certain video cards or Directx versions or anything like that.
On a plus note the graphics look great. I was excited to play.
I also could not even run this on 800 x 600 mode

You shouldn't be experiencing any issues.
What type of video card are you running?
Be sure to disable mouse smoothing
Also, for troubleshooting sake, try and disable shadows.
Darkfall is known to run better on Nvidia cards, but ATI cards should not be unplayable.
Open up a support ticket in account management.
Include system specs and what other programs you had running.
I'm pretty sure it's a known issue caused by a conflict with something.
Of course, you should probably post those things here too so that other players can chime in.
So you have have a 2000$ and you want some help. Please post more info about your pc.
Becuse my rigg is +2000$ and has no problems at all with this game.

Impossible to give you any sort of advice if you don't post your system specs, and a few examples of games that you can run with no issues whatsoever.
REALITY CHECK
My feeling is the OPs gaming pc has either a hardware fault or has'nt been set up properly . Maybe they hav'nt loaded your graphics drivers ? Having said that I know some Radeon cards can be a little fernickity when it comes to playing certain games .
Two things could cause this:
a) you run xfire (try to disable/exit it while playing)
b) your keyboard or mouse interfere with the game. Try to replug either device after the game is properly loaded and running.
Hopefully one of those two things help. Other then that you can also contact support through the ticket system as already suggested.
It's something with your system bro. Im running a two year old quad core with a 250gts and I get 180ish FPS
I am runing darkfall on anthlon x2 6400, radeon 4870, 4gigs of ram without any problems around 140fps
The fun part is that this kind of topic often points at the game, as if the problem lies at the game. thank god that I dont work anymore at a hardware support line...

I use an ATI 5870 and it runs fine for me.
What are the settings in-game? I had to play around with them at first.
I am at work right now and will post system specs later. However I run Age of Conan with zero issues. I also can play mortal online with no issues. I didnt mess with it but for 30 minutes and got frustrated. I knew posting here would be helpful. So please try to remain respectful.
I have not been able to test this game yet,their d/l speeds of 2-50 kb/s are frightening.Their support is hilarious,i gave up on the Firefox issues registering and just used IExplorer,so i may be able to test this game out by next Christmas if the D/L speeds hold up lol.
Is it possible the game has multiple loading options?don't run in windowed mode is usually a first.If you do not have much RAM and are probably running Vista,then make sure you have as many background resources shut off,goofy stuff like steam/Punkbuster all like to be hidden running at all times,even when your not even using them grrr.Also turn off antivirus or put it in gaming mode if possible.
Also they have a US and a Euro server,if you are on the Euro ,you could be lagging badly to their servers,if you live in NA.

I don't think anyone is being out of line. If you expect good answers, you begin by providing the right information for us to better help you. Simply stating that the game does not run well on your system and you wasted $1 on a trial key is not the way to approach things.
Just post your some system specs, driver versions etc. I'm sure someone here can help you narrow it down.

Same thing happened to me when i first started playing. Do you use a G15 keyboard? If so download the latest driver for it. A temporary fix for it is to unplug your keyboard and then plug it back in after the game has loaded. I know it seems silly but it should fix the issue.

The G15 keyboard used to jank up darkfall badly.
Try a diff. keyboard to test.
I was able to fix my issue with the g15 finally, but that was only on Vista Ultimate I had it, since i moved to 7, no issue.

I'm going to laugh if it turns out he just forgot that you can't move in interface mode, and would only have to switch back to fpv mode to move again.:p
GIUYS! I think is he right clicking for the UI switch and doesnt understand why he cant move.
