Official Update to F.A.Q.
Tera Fans recently posted some changes that were made to the F.A.Q. that may help answer some of the outstanding questions left over from all the announcements En Masse recently made.
How does TERA differ from other MMORPGs?
-TERA will set a new standard in MMORPGs with its next-generation graphics, groundbreaking gameplay, and unique political system.
-TERA's stunning graphics and visuals combine for a cinematic gameplay experience.
-Players have a direct impact on the world, dictating the flow of the economy and maneuvering through the political system of their server.
-TERA's tactical combat system gives players more control and constant involvement in the action! No more point-and-click or just cycling through a palette of spells and skills.
-TERA will support game controllers at launch.
How many characters and races in TERA and what are the main characters and classes?
-TERA has six character races - Aman, Castanics, Baraka, High Elves, Humans and Popori - and eight classes. Each race will be able to play all classes.
-Player classes include the Lancer, Warrior, Berserker, Sorcerer, Priest, Mystic, Slayer and Archer. Numerous customization options will ensure each player a unique character experience.
When will TERA be released in North America? Will TERA be launched globally?
-TERA is scheduled for release in early 2011. The game will be available in multiple languages and localized to specific regions. Please continue to visit our site for further updates.
When will the beta test begin?
-Beta testing for TERA is planned for sometime later this year. Be sure to sign up for our monthly newsletter for the latest updates and news regarding testing!
What will be the payment model for TERA?
-Like other triple-A titles, TERA will follow the subscription-based model, and will feature box products for sale in North America. Further details will be disclosed at a later time.
What system requirements and internet connection are needed for TERA?
-We're still in the process of optimizing and fine-tuning the game. Our development team is working diligently to reach the highest graphic and action quality compatible with the majority of existing systems. Specific system requirements will be released in the future.
Is the official trailer a cinematic creation?
-No. The official trailer available on our website is actual gameplay footage that has been edited into a trailer format to capture the excitement and energy of TERA as accurately as possible.
