I don't even play WoW...but I just find it funny that brining this garbage out to PAX and the FFXIV developer team says they are confident they can give WoW the run for the money...

Square-Enix developers make some Redonkulous claims...as much as I've read and seen so far...
That's some of the only ingame footage released, and it's old footage of an alpha build. If you were expecting more than what was there thats a personal problem, but to call it garbage you must have had much much higher expectations when you watched it.
