Closed Beta 2 - First Impressions?

 So far I am absolutely loving this game and I am only level 10. For a game that was released as being a PvP heavy game, I am having a great time just with the PvE. Considering I haven't even gotten to the PvP of this game yet, I am highly impressed. 

A truly innovative part of Aika Online is the questing system, It gives you the feel of a console game and really takes the drag out of questing because I am more engaged into the story line. 

My one beef is the clunky movement, it just feels awkward sometimes to walk around. I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon too fast (kind of like I did with Allods), but I an really enjoying this so far.

What are your thoughts about Aika Online so far?

 My thoughts, irrelevant. All that can be said is, enjoy the game while you can, because once it reaches the point where Gpotato can implement the CS, prepare for future patches to bring the game to its knees and to have your wallet shaken down for pennies. Take a peek over at Allods, which is not the first of their magnificent exploitative blunders. Sorry to say but you guys are next.  Honestly, I wish people would stop signing over their games to these people. Lots of F2P games have really nice ideas, the large scale battles in this could have been pretty cool, but as corrupt as the F2P model is, Gpotato takes the cake as far as exploiting it to the extreme.

Allods is developed by a russian company that apparently only wants to make money and doesn't care at all about players.

Aika is another game with other items in the cash shop, as we can see by their other versions (kr, jp, tw). So far the cash shop items from the other versions aren't really overpowered and the game itself doesn't encourage cash shop that much. The massive PvP nature of the game sort of kills the need for cash shop for the casual players, since one player with really good items won't make a difference against a rush from another nation of 100+ players. ^^
