Just saw the news that darkfall has put out a trial for a dollar. Which is great! One dollar for one week sounds like a deal to me. That also gives me some assurance that they aren't just losing players so they need to rush out a trial for people. I think this was a great Idea and come saturday night, i will make an Account for the NA servers, install and begin play. it will be great! If i like it, i will purchase it.  Enough said.

The game has drawn me to it's attraction now for sometime and i have been constantly saying " man, i wish there was a trial" ... hey dreams do come true .

It was also nice to see that not only do the Developers of darkfall care about the players, but so does the rest of the community! After reading that article with the "NEW" guild, ( i think is their names.) I think that is wonderful news. I have been looking for a good community, ,..... so sick of the WoW community and their player base. So I have high hopes that this game pulls a home run for me! I need some fresh air haha.

 What daarco said. If you approach the game with a "must skill up quickly" grind mentality, it may go quick but it likely won't be very enjoyable. It is a heck of a grind, and I've found the key to not burning out is just to play the game. Mix it up. Do some PvE, go off and explore, harvest and craft, go do some more PvE, get together with ppl, like ppl from NEW who BTW are for the most part fantastic. Just mix it up, and have fun with it. Don't approach it as a job.

Also the first week is by far the hardest. You are the worst at everything that you will ever be. Keep that in mind as you get rolled over by gankers, which will happen. You might get rolled now, but you will have your revenge.
