FFXIV In-Game Music

in Final Fantasy XIV

If the music in FFXIV is as nicely done as the one we can hear from the official website, it's gonna be awesome.

I know the new generation of gamers just mute the musics in MMORPGs and put on heavy metal or some sort of rap... but I'm from another generation where the music in MMORPGs are important and I do think that they're on the right track.

Also, the music in FFXI was amazing.

 

P.S. I have a good feeling about Final Fantasy XIV. Hopefully they won't make it an carebear MMORPG...

    Music in games (entertainment in general really) is almost as important as the story and gameplay. Less important in MMORPGs, but Uematsu-sama definitely won't disappoint.

    If you listen to the Eorzeapedia podcasts they talk about the music, Nobuo Uematsu is composing the soundtrack for this game and if you are a fan of any other FF game you will love his work. FFXIV is also supposed to have more zone music, so that's a plus too.
