Today Darkfall is one year old! Like any toddler it has seen some growth spurts and indeed will see many more! We have some great plans and announcements for you over the next week and hope you will enjoy our birthday and help us celebrate! Watch this space for what we hope to be one of our most exciting contests yet! Agon may also be seeing a special birthday guest in the coming weeks, not everyone enjoys a party after all.
But for now we hope you will enjoy the in game celebrations and drink a pint or seven with us! The inhabitants of the capital cities (and Espenhal) will be showing their cheer with their own festivities so feel free to speak to the counselors there and join in the Ember Fest!
If you would like to learn a little more about this, read on below! Or if not, continue the slaughter!
The Ember Fest:
Once a year the denizens of Agon enjoy a (very) brief lull in the relentless pursuit of dominion to celebrate the Ember Fest. The Ember represents the spark of life and fire that flickers and crackles in each one of them, fueling their lust for battle, warming their passion and creativity and burning their souls with a thirst for domination to such a scale as can only be found in the steely hearts of the races of Agon.
It is generally agreed, (insofar as the races ever agree to anything) that the first Ember Fest celebrations mark the first years of the world, and as such the festival also serves as an anniversary for Agon itself.
During these days of raucous celebration, brilliant displays of pyrotechnics can often be seen above the major cities of the world, flashing and glimmering below the stars to give thanks to the Ember spark.
As with most things Agonian of course, these celebrations often go too far.. and on more than one occasion have earned the angst and ire of some powerful and grumpy denizen..
Let us hope this year we won’t wake anybody up…
I'm excited about the end there
BEER, BEER, BEER, BEER
Sweet
EDIT I did just read that some Alfar clans will not take part in this. " Anyone caught celebrating in Nagast will be swiftly dealt with!"
lol nice
Good! damn alfar.
I had a minor setback!
When i ran from my clancity towards Sanguine (human capital) like a happy child on christmas eve....i totally forgot DF was FFAPvP MMO. Sanguine were full of enemy clan members
On the + side i manages to shake them of by running around between houses. Still, i laughed my ass of.
