Hey, even at a $2 raise per extra character it would be cheaper than getting a second account.
Hopefully they'll just give us new slots when the expansion comes out. Would be a good marketing ploy: want more slots? Yeah? Good! Buy the expansion pack!

Makes sense since we're just going to buy it anyway. It would be cool if you only get extra slots if you already had previous versions. Then people who started at the beginning (or before any expansion) would be rewarded.
Yeah, it would make sense for SOE to do that. We'll just have to wait and see.
