MMORPG.com's Garrett Fuller recently interviewed the Director of Product Management Frogster Online Gaming GmbH, the publishers behind Runes of Magic, about the game and where it stands today.

MMORPG.com:

Talk about the addition of Bloodbath Valley, how can players join the new area?

Daniel Ullrich:

Bloodbath Valley can be found in the northern reaches of the last zone expansion, the Aotulia Volcano. The Demon Stronghold instance is located in the same zone. There is only one way to take part in this Public Encounter: Just join in! The Public Encounter effectively runs constantly. It's sufficient just to move into the area and then you'll find yourself there. And here is where you have to conquer, among others, the Naga and other bosses who will come at you in several waves. You're not on your own of course, you'll also have the support of Elven troops and others.

 I would just like to say 1 thing that can justify the complete non-sense that the developers of this game has been saying.

"2.5million users"

where are these people? the most populated non-german EU server has an average of 500 active players. this server is called Macantacht.

the pvp servers are completely dead and on a good day has 50 users online.

it is true that the developers are trying, to make things better now, but its way to late at this point, they already driven players off with their ridiculous customer support, cash shop payment methods and the ever present and continuing bug where items disappeared and not refunded later when reported.

The population of serious players in this game is ever dwindling and the community is plagued by noobs

Yet sadly it is the best F2p game there is. 

But if the developers did things correct and not greedy before, this game would have suppassed World of Warcraft
