Can someone describe the PVP?

in Xsyon: Prelude

PVP is the most important aspect of  a game to me, and is almost always the deal breaker.

 

Can someone describe the PVP in  Xsyon? Both generally speaking, and also compared to other games and/or mmorpgs. The comparison I am most interested in is to DAOC's pvp/rvr system, but all additional comparisons would be helpful as well. 

 

Thanks a ton in advance. I can't wait to try the free trial.

    Neither of these replies really covers the depth I'm looking for. I should have made my original post a bit more clear.

     

    I'm really looking for a review of the quality of the PVP. How strategically in depth is it? I used to call 8 manning in DAOC "live action chess." Will small gang pvp in Xsyon be similar to this? If not, will it be strategic or tactic in other senses? How so?

     

    Are the controls tight and responsive, or slow and laggy? Gear and nice items always matter in PVP, but I'm looking for player RL talent and RL twitch skills to matter just as much, if not more. How long do battles last? Can small gangs take on much langer gangs, and possibly win by using kiting techniques and extension tactics? Etc etc.

     

    I'm really looking for an in depth review, not just abstract descriptions. Any game can sound fantastic, but end of being garbage. I'd like to hear some player's/developer's/whoever's opinion on how this game stands up to the relatively high standards of pvp set by other mmo's in the past.

    Off topic, I thought you had played the game. It  would be nice if there was someone who had actually played some version of the game to talk about it on the various forums. As it stands right now, it seems the only "official" information is the website, which makes it all sound pretty, but is severely lacking in details/videos/etc. 

     

    I understand it's a bit early, but if they are taking preoders and if the game is coming out in a few months, then in my opinion it's time to get this information out there.
