solved- ram wasnt seated into the motherboard properly

Hi, you guys have helped me in the past, I hope you can continue the tradition.

motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128392

ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145260

I had  4 gigs of ram and i just bought 4 more of the exact same type.  I physically installed them but the computer still only reads 4gb of physical memory.

 (I am running windows 7 64 bit.)

I assume I have to do something in bios but i cant find anything to detect new memory or anything like that?

Anyone help me discover the problem, thanks!

It might be because your operating system can not recognise more then that ;)
