Answer is NO ,it has intel vga (on cpu ) Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD .Look one with good vga . Ati 5870mobilty is the king of hill now for laptop vgas .
If you want to play games on a laptop look to one with real graphic card , asus has some models with ati 5870 (no idea about price )

lol, you'll be lucky if the either game will even start, much less run anywhere near "Max or Decent" settings.
You realize there's no graphics card in that? It's integrated, which is fine for office PC's but is not by any means a gaming machine. It probably wouldn't even be able to load Oblivion.
And I don't think specs for SWTOR came out yet, but I doubt you could run them anywhere near max. You'll probably lag like hell at minimum.

Instead of throwing insane amounts of money after a dell computer, built one your self and save like 20-30% off the prices , don't know which country your from but.

Don't remember one for europe if there even is one, or then im sure your specific country has one, i kinda remember the one for poland , don't ask me why but their prices on the same hardware is roughly 40% of the price i have to pay in denmark , but ok them being a poor country and all.

It looks like it has a clarkdale cpu, and while the graphics are better than the old integrated intel graphics it's still not geared toward gaming. If you want an i5 cpu I would go with a lynfeild and a dedicated graphics card 512megs or more. With turbo boost on the lynfeild the overclocking possiblities are pretty sweet.
this is my setup so far it's sprinted thru everything I've thrown at it..

built the whole system for 800$
This definitely won't run Crysis at max, not even 'decent'. If you're lucky, you'll get 5FPS.
If you want a gaming computer, get an alienware. Which is owned by Dell, but still shitty since its not the old Alienware.
My suggestion is build your own, various sites I use to buy different parts.
Im in SC, if you're close, i'll build you one. You buy the parts of course.

Alright thank you everyone for your honesty - Because I really don't know anymore... last time I built a system was 7 years ago... when I was 11 so things have changed.
My mother bless her heart is currently dying from Pancreatic cancer - but she is an avid gamer WoW Other MMO's etc - and she wanted to buy a decent laptop 'gaming' computer well as decent as a laptop gamer can be. So when she passes away she can give it to me.
She made the mistake of not telling me this and going to the local best buy... well the sales commission jack A$$ sold her the first thing he could show her I am guessing. No offense to all of you who may or may not be in this sales area... but don't bullsh1t me you guys sell someone the first thing that catches their fancy without a care as to what they actually want as long as you get your commission or what have you.
So this guy whomever it was sold her this Dell Laptop - I looked it over 'looks' great but of course it's going to LOOK great... She told him her situation and this is the computer he suggested... What a load of crap he was selling... she has been in and out of the hospital and hasn't been able to even get on a computer so she had bought this Laptop. I am a bit worried as what I can do - as I don't know their return policy prolly 30 day sort of deal. But since I figure it was the salesman who sold the wrong product it might work out.
Ok moving on from my 'sob' story - do any of you know of a decent 'gaming' laptop that I can purchase through Bestbuy since I am prolly going to be stuck with store credit if I am LUCKY.
Thanks
EDIT:: And I know a few here do work at bestbuy - and might know something I don't concerning my situation like a loop hole or something - what would be the best course of action? I know I am prolly beyond a 30 day by a few days... but... I can't think that "That's that" I would raise hell if it were so. And thank you for the great setups... I really wish she would have asked me then I could do the research or ask for help. But that's mom's for yah gotta love'em...
EDIT EDIT:: I just Google'd bestbuy return policy - is 14 days... well that's dandy - Which in all terms her and I are prolly screwed and stuck with this beast... -sigh-
I'm truly sorry to hear about your mom's situation, and as a person in sales it disgusts me when I hear about a salesman not taking enough intrest or pride in his or her line of sales...
As for the laptop, I'm not sure what price range you might be looking for but this particular one http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+VAIO+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+-+Black/9705382.p?id=1218154378383&skuId=9705382 would be one way to go, it has dedicated graphics 1GB and the core i series is the way to go as for cpu.
There still may be something they can do for you, just remember to stay calm but firm when dealing with CS, speaking from experience beligerence only makes them not want to help you.
Depends on your price range:
~1,000 www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i5+Processor+-+Blue/Black/9736955.p
~1,500 www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Qosmio+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+-+Omega+Black/9726427.p
~2,000 www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Qosmio+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B+i7+Processor+-+Omega+Black/9726542.p
~2,000+ www.bestbuy.com/site/Alienware+-+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B2+Quad+Processor+-+Black/9693464.p
If you want a decent laptop, the Alienware M11X isn't half bad. Nothing to jump and jive over, but she can definitely WoW it up and quite a few other MMOs. I think they start at ~$800.

I thank everyone for your input - I was however ABLE to get store credit for the LAPTOP itself... still working on the others bits but that is good news I think.
Ive been talking to her - and atleast THIS time I can have input on what she gets. I believe bestbuy you can order a product from online through the store and still count as a store credit? I might be wrong.
I was looking at the different laptops that you all posted from Bestbuy some V or Toshiba... the only thing I dislike about alienware is it's alot like buying a Trek Bicycle.... your paying an extra 400$+ Just for the name :-) It's a status symbol.
Well her original purchase was I believe 1000$ I think given the situation I may be able to have her get a GOOD gaming laptop for 2000$.
I am not really to... well I don't know what is better in terms of Hardware. I would love your opinions as to what would be the BEST gaming Laptop from BESTBUY for that price range.
Again I thank you for all your patience and cooperation :-)
I think from what I have been reading online reviews this is prolly the BEST bet - besides some minor issues such as some say the hard drive hums... (It's an fing machine of course it's going to make noises) some complain about the mouse - others dislike this or that... but the OVER ALL it passes with flying colors... Opinions?
EDIT:: The big question about this laptop - is I know the i7 is like 1.8ghz then boosts up to 2.8ghz when needed... I believe I have an understanding of that.
Would this PC play 3D Demanding game programs like Crysis, Oblvion, Fallen Earth, Mass Affect 2, Fallout 3... etc at Med or MAX settings?
Very sorry to hear about this, God Speed to your mom and you.
You might print off the min required system specs, and suggested, required specs, for Crysis, then take them, and your laptop, with receipt in hand, and speak with the manager of the Best Buy, she got it from.
Start with a phone call, and explain in short detail, to the manager, not anyone else, what your situation is.
I have had both good luck,, and no luck , doing this with dif Best Buy issues.
It may be, that they offer you a better Laptop, or an affordable solution, of some sort.( Even a decent desktop, with room for a good card, and win 7- 64, or some 64 bit OS.
If that yields nothing, I would look for the Best Buy district office, and then speak in detail, clearly, without cussing anyone, but yet clearly conveying your disdain, and loss of confidence in Best Buy computer department personel.
If that doesnt work, maybe check craigs list , see if anyone in your area is looking to trade a gamer for a laptop.
Best of Luck, and God bless

Ton's of views but very little reply's - and I gotta run back to Bestbuy and make a Decision SOON (Day or so) SO all Opinions Advice ETC would be much appreciated.
It takes nothing less than a beast of a computer to run crysis on max, and you won't ever get a laptop to do that.
What the last guy linked is more than a decent computer and it will run everything with smooth performance.
List of SOE lies
Not true. If they make a decent laptop with like a mobile 260 series card, and some DDR3 memory, like 2 gigs me thinks, you could play Crysis on high. Just don't expect that laptop to be cheap by any means.
Franker
So everyone's last opinion is to go with ' http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sony+-+VAIO+Laptop+with+Intel®+Core™+i7+Processor+-+Black/9705382.p?id=1218154378383&skuId=9705382 '
Given my choices and the research I have done - it appears to be the BEST out of the group for the hardware and price... But of course I enjoy the professional opinions of those whose hobby has been Computers for quite some time.
I thank you all for your opinions - and if their are not any objections it appears this will be the laptop I'll be going with. :-)
