    www.google.com/products/catalog

Imho, the best you can get for <$100 and are in your price range! I stumbled on them at Gamestop, when I was looking for a temporary set. That was almost a year and half ago and I have no plans of replacing them anytime soon.

They are Stereo and when I play FPSs, I rely on sound alot. They aren't surround sound, but I can easily tell the direction of where a player is walking in CoD4.

They have a retractable bendable mic that works great.

Great sound when listening to music.

The only problem I had with them was when I first got them. They didn't come with drivers and you have to download them from the company website. The direct link comes on a piece of paper in the box..... BUT it downloads at like 15kbs and is over 100mb. Win7 doesn't need drivers though, if you run it.

Dude, if you live in the states, just go to walmart and get a Logitech headset with mic. The low grade ones are 14.95, and the mid grades are 29.99.

I have used both and actually still have both for about 3 years now. They never fail, mic quality is fine, and I never use the headset for sound, I have surround sound for that.

They are cheap and solid little headsets, unless you are the type of gamer that kicks thier headset across the floor on the way to bio or getting a drink, then they won't last that long.

    That is my suggestion anyway.
