Any info/signs on the Cash Shop?

How cash shop dependent this game will be?

Any information on that?

If one can spend more than $10 per month

on their character to get power in-game,

then its a Pay to Win game,

where the developers print money

and change game mechanics to

force players into paying

just so they can compete.

    [Mod Edit]

cash shop will be tradeable thats your given maybe 6 items will be account bound

higher your lvl the more you can spend the more you spend the more the game get

the more money the game gets the better off the game will be

this game has the potential for great things this year the mmo gamers are crying out give us worlds give us worlds , and what has Aika done ? built a vast world that can take months to explore . add to that the super sized 1000 vs 1000 PVP , 5 fractions to pick from , vintage and retro mounts " some are all about the mounts" , vast array of quest content , hard but not to freaking long dungeon system , and the fact that end game items are ingame not in cash shop only .

cash shop users if all cash shop items are moved to our version will get , ezer upgrades , gear and weapons 1 tier above there current rank , and the F2P standards exp boosters , drop boosters , and the little junk like that . there are no super instant cash shop user items that one can buy and instantly be a end gamer . unless the cash shop buyer is also a super grinder there not even going to stay in the front wave .

fact the cash shop buyer supports the game and keeps it running for all . that in its self should entitle them to a boost or bonus of some type .

those that cry that the cash shop users have a unfair advantage over the reg players in and F2P mmo are the ones that truly have no place playing . why would one pay 1 cent to a game that gave 0 advantage as trade for there real money ?

if you have time on your hands and you like this game , but dont have or refuse to spend cash on a mmo , then your best option is to be a grinder those that grind will have just as much advantage if not more than the cash shop buyers . beings almost all of the cash shop is tradeable "a feature all F2P mmo's have taken to reduce gold spammers" and the fact most buyers havent the time to grind for item such and such that they want /need , threw the buyers the grinders will have almost unlimited cash shop access .

for the most part buyers buy do to the fact they no longer have the vast time needed to be a grinder there thunder days of mmo gaming of the 18 hour grind parties and no sleep weekend are a thing of the past . yet there competative edge is still there so for the ability to be a top gamer the turn to the cash shop and the grinders to hone there edge in a way there diminished game time in its self can not

if your unwilling to be a grinder or a buyer you can still get to the top its just going to be a longer road for you with alot more bumps along the way. but the fact will remain that there are/were 2 options infront of you when you started playing to ease your path . if you chose not to be a grinder/buyer you can not call unfair to those that do as it is fully fair NO ONE is stopping YOU from taking one of these paths

it boils down to dedication those that dedicate more get more be it time or money you are dedicating to the game

keep in mind if your not having fun than you are in the wrong place

My guess is they will go the same route with basically all of the other hosted MMO's gPotato supports (Allods was a disaster but they "fixed" it) but seeing as Allods has a russian dev that is also screwing the game up, really no hope for that one.

As for Aika, it could be 50/50 only time will tell. I played Rappelz for a long time, spent a couple bucks for the xp potions but didn't really need them so for playing that game for a year or so I spent roughly $40 which isn't bad.

gPotato overprices but just think about what you're spending your money on before you buy. If you can get it in game, just man up and get it in game. If you have the money to blow, do what you want.
