Would have been better off just saying he didn't enjoy the game or wasn't for him than the reasons he gave. Most of those don't even make sense or come off as being trivial as hell and make one wonder what type of pc he was trying to run the game on.

If someone can find a transcript of the Massively Speaking podcast interview Lee Hammock did several weeks ago, he outlines what they are trying to do with the item decay and item enhancement systems. I totally agree that FE needs some form of item obsoletion or degradation to make crafting and the game economy more viable and meaningful, and trust me when I say that what Lee described sounded like just what the doctor ordered... it takes items out of the system in a way that is reasonable to the user and keeps them flowing out of the system at a rate fast enough to sustain crafting. Basically it boils down to things can only be repaired a certain amount of times before the item cannot be repaired anymore and becomes useless.
Thats awesome news. hmm... I may have to give FE a resub when this is put in. It was one of the big reasons I stopped playing as I felt i was worthless as a crafter in the game (not needed by anyone other than myself due to item repair).

Yes TJ_420's short reply was disrespectful. So what? Respect is given where it is due......and in this case he didnt feel the OP was worthy of his respect so he chose not to give it. Nothing wrong with that. Obviously english is not the OP's native language. However his funny choice of wording made it rather entertaining for me to read and it is pretty hard to not comment on it. I think the same thing here. The old generation of people (seem to be the biggest population in FE) think the graphics are super! When the young generation have seen much better.
I also see the FE fans talk a lot about UO... ofc they will think the combat animation look great...

First post of yours with a hint of truth in many many days here. I'm referring to the part when you realize that it's YOU, who is not suited for this kind of game, and not the game that is bad. You are probably a l33t kid, as you mention in almost every of your post, how you miss the "über-drops", some kind of Purple Omni-Mega-Blaster-Gun of Zombie Pounding or something like that. Yep, this game is not that game. It's a shame though, that you actually wrote that you agree with the OP, who obviously has problems with his PC on the first hand, but on the other hand is desperately trying to convince everyone, how HE himself does not like the game. You get the "trolling" reply for several reasons:
- lots of the stuff you mentions ain't true or exaggerated
- you don't post positive stuff. 90% of the stuff you post is negative
- instead of simply accepting that the game is not for you, you keep coming back. And post negative stuff. And then you come back again, and complain more, and come back even more. If you like the game, post something positive for a change. If you dislike the game, stop playing. If you did stop playing, then stop jumping constantly into threads about a game you don't play, to complain about things or even making them up. You are a troll.

For once, I agree with you, it might be a generation thing. The younger players are those who, as we had it several times already on the FE boards, complain that the post apocalypse ain't colorful enough, for example. They want quicker action, bigger loot and everything to be faster, more colorful and louder.

I think it's rather the other way round. The mature players see the realistic well done graphics, and enjoy them. The kids see something that is less colorful than they want it to be. They mistake a style they dislike (something realistic) for bad graphics. FE have a population around 50k. Thats not much. They do patch the game. But I'm not sure it will last long. As said, you are a troll. The population is large enough to find enough people ingame for clans, pvp, group quests, keeping the auction house busy and so on. More is not necessary. It's a single server, it's not split up into dozen smaller ones, so it needs not as many people for an active world.
The comment that the game won't last long is just more trolling on your side. You want to attack those who like the game. You are not interested in a discussion. The game is great, and in my opinion, it will stick around for a while. So as said:
- like it, post something positive once in a while
- don't like it, stop playing

Would have been better off just saying he didn't enjoy the game or wasn't for him than the reasons he gave. Most of those don't even make sense or come off as being trivial as hell and make one wonder what type of pc he was trying to run the game on.
I can respect someone simply saying they found a game a bore or simply weren't entertained than I can someone so desparate to try and prove to others why they didn't like a game.

Fantastic reply to the OP, but....I'm concerned about your exposure to either the plague or radiation, because the sheer fact that you could decipher enough OF the original post to be ABLE to respond....is somewhat....freakish. O.o
Perhaps you've had a few too many spider licks from Spider Hill and it has imparted some spider-vision or something to you that is causing this odd power......
I suggest you check back in at the command post or go to a LifeNet Center immediately for a complete physical and diagnosis before you end up infecting the rest of us. Until I hear back from you on your health report....I will not be posting next to you for fear of contamination. I have donned a gas mask and protective gear in the meantime, to allow me to make THIS post safely, though I have some trepidation regarding its effectiveness, and therefore will not risk posting again until I know you have a clean bill of health.

Thats awesome news. hmm... I may have to give FE a resub when this is put in. It was one of the big reasons I stopped playing as I felt i was worthless as a crafter in the game (not needed by anyone other than myself due to item repair).

Yes TJ_420's short reply was disrespectful. So what? Respect is given where it is due......and in this case he didnt feel the OP was worthy of his respect so he chose not to give it. Nothing wrong with that. Obviously english is not the OP's native language. However his funny choice of wording made it rather entertaining for me to read and it is pretty hard to not comment on it. Despite the bad wording though several of the OP's complaints are also ridiculous. On top of that the OP wasnt forced to post his negative opinions on an english speaking games forum where the entire world can see and respond to his post in any way they see fit.
I agree with the OP. I also had many bugs and I also get back "I never had it you are wrong and a troll".
I think it's all about generations of the people that play this game. The young generation don't like this game. I'm not that young but my mind is, so I have problems with animation, boring crafting, bugs, graphics, pvp, loot, mobs, mission etc. Thats why I quit playing.
About the graphics, it's like when my Grandpa got DvD. He was going "WOOOOOWW LOOK AT THIS!!!!"... I had HD at that time and was "Meeh it's not that great Grandpa, look at this". I think the same thing here. The old generation of people (seem to be the biggest population in FE) think the graphics are super! When the young generation have seen much better.
I also see the FE fans talk a lot about UO... ofc they will think the combat animation look great...
FE have a population around 50k. Thats not much. They do patch the game. But I'm not sure it will last long. Or it turn F2P this year.

First post of yours with a hint of truth in many many days here. I'm referring to the part when you realize that it's YOU, who is not suited for this kind of game, and not the game that is bad. You are probably a l33t kid, as you mention in almost every of your post, how you miss the "über-drops", some kind of Purple Omni-Mega-Blaster-Gun of Zombie Pounding or something like that. Yep, this game is not that game. It's a shame though, that you actually wrote that you agree with the OP, who obviously has problems with his PC on the first hand, but on the other hand is desperately trying to convince everyone, how HE himself does not like the game. Do you know, who does that? Yes, a hater.
An average guy who does not like the game, just stops playing it, and looks for another game. To come back to a game's forum, comment something negative in every single topic, and glaringly agree with everyone who bashes it, is the classic archetypal pattern of a hater troll. Nobody else ever does that.
And no, your criticism is not constructive. You keep mentioning the bugs you experienced, that most others didn't. You don't like some fundamental aspects of the game (crafting, no leet drops) - we got that many, many days ago. NO, it won't be changed (thank god). So basically, you have nothing to say anymore, yet you keep doing it - the same stuff over and over. To make the picture full, you don't even check how ridiculous a troll bashing post is (this one, yes), before you happily agree and line up behind it.
