Odd title i know.

I just thought about writing this becuase, well i want everyone who reads this to be more greedy and stop the greed of others.

Currently, Microsoft's and Sony's Greed is greater than yours. They release more games for systems they own so you have to pay for the games and the platforms that play them. I read a few other post on this board, one was addressing ff13 for the PC, another, why PCs will ultimately defeat counsels.

See the i know that ff13 was developed to be ported to the PC at literally no cost or effort , in fact at e3 08 ff13 was set to release on the PC. So why was it not released? Money / Geed.

The companies know, that if that can, its best to keep as many games off the PC becuase if someone really wants to play a game they will have to buy that system. (And don't start with the not making money from those systems they do, or they wouldn't be making them). Of course everything is calculated (its about money and its their job to be greedy). So even if they think we could make xx amount or a bit less but our competitor also makes a bit less. The issues is no longer just money but money relative to competition.

What does this all mean, its about control of your dollar (if you want those forms of entertainment). Even beyond that some of it is the way things "should be" the "PlayStation X" is a good. Sony sells that good. As long as its making money they will continue to attempt to sell the good. People, greedy people, work for sony, they pitch ideas playstation 4 has this cpu, uses this type of interface, etc. Well if there is no PS4 then what do these people do? Its in there own greedy self-interest to make the PS4 and keep the PS3 strong. Well if there is no reason to buy a PS3 (anyone with a computer can buy the game on PC) then what will these people do?

Now what about YOU?

Why buy a ps3? Well the blue-ray drive is a pretty good deal.
But other than that? Spend 300-500 on a PS3 or 500-600 on a PC that will ran any game the PS3 will ever release? Plus all the things a pc does that PS3 just do not do.

There is literally no reason to by an Xbox 360 as is lacks a blue-ray drive.

Now a Wii is different as they are rather cheap and prices do not compare to a PC.

So i encourage all of you who read this to be a little more Greedy and DO NOT PURCHASE A PS3 OR XBOX360. Sooner or later they will understand that our greed is more important than theirs.

Theres so many things wrong with this statement its not even funny.

Apparently stating the truth in my sig is "trolling"

Console gamers usually buy the games they want to play, PC gamers usually pirate copy the games they want to play. No wonder that many developers don't want to release their games to PC.

Nice Sentiment, I mean I see where you are coming from but consoles are WAY more accessible, they will be king eventually.

I'm not really sure PC gamers "usually" do that. Can you link a source?

I actually own a PS3, the reason for that is that I kinda like bet-them-up games. Some beers and a few buddies together with the latest Soul Calibur = fun. Those games  rarely gets ported to a PC and even if they do the controller is a problem.

Would I play a FPS game on a consol? No way, I own one state of the art PC and a rather nice Laptop with blue-ray (funny enough made by no other than Sony) and I like to keep my MMOs and strategy games on them.

But there are some genres that just either will make poor PC games or just will be so badly ported that you shouldn't play them on PC.

To be frank is it over 3 months ago since I even started the PS3.

Care to back that nonsense up with facts? Didn't think so.

    How about these statistics: http://kotaku.com/5435876/report-the-most-pirated-games-of-2009

Some console creators also have effective ways to stop the piracy on their consoles: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/nov/11/xbox-modded-consoles-live-cut-microsoft

From your first link, the article even explains: "as common sense dictates, a copy pirated does not equate to a lost sale."

And honestly, if you're trying to prove a point, I think it's retarded linking to an article explaining that only 4.1 million copies have been downloaded, when in fact the game sold more than 4.7 million copies in 24 hours.

A pc with four controllers seems to lend itself to pcs just fine, plug in four controllers (hook ur pc to the tv).

Then agian pc's are bulky ... then agian more and more people are creating media center computers just for their tvs.
