I really hope so, instantly zap you and others from other servers to a desired dungeon. Reliving old content, finishing up old quests. I love this game I restarted about 2 weeks ago. This feature IMO was the only thing missing. Die WoW die.
Nods. I just cancelled my sub... again, because I have exhausted the solo content and my guild only raids twice a week so the other 5 I just don't have anything fun to do other than spam /gu and /2 for group runs. Seriously considering another tour of WoW to get my rogue and paly ready for Cata.
It's decent, but queue times are twice what WoW's are.
Strangely enough, ALL of the instances themselves are pretty solid to great, but it favors certain ones too much and is a bit spotty on group makeup due to population issues I assume. Unrest for example is what you'll get from 70-80 75% of the time, and there are a dozen in that range...
Originally posted by Beyorn I have heard that they will be adding a dungeon finder tool similar to the one in WoW. Has anyone else heard this, Is it true?
I'm going to go against the grain here and say 'I hope not.'
EQ2 has always been about the quest.. the people.. it was never marketed as a WoW clone, but sadly it's been moving that way for along time.
Making 'dungeon finders' and the such take the what's left of the little sandbox-ish feel away from EQ2 and put that final nail in the coffin.
I have tried using it a few times since it came out and I never got a group with it. I managed to get groups the old-fashioned way, by asking in lfg 1-9 or asking to join groups that were already made. I guess it isn't really, really needed...

This would be a welcome feature. I find myself coming back to EQ2 ever so often and this would be another time I would resubscribe.
